Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman blamed former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi after the Democrats were walloped in the 2024 elections.
During an interview with Politico, Fetterman went after Pelosi when asked if he thought President Joe Biden should have dropped out of the race after the terrible debate with Donald Trump.
“People like [Nancy] Pelosi, she really tried to — what’s the word I’m looking for? — she embraced this ‘she’s the godmother, she’s the enforcer.’ And now she’s blaming Biden,” Fetterman said, holding nothing back while blaming Pelosi for trying to pull power moves.
“Well, you can’t have it both ways. You got what you wanted,” he added, referring to Biden’s ouster and the installment of Kamala Harris, “and now you’re still blaming Biden.”
Democrats have split into various feuding factions and are blaming one another for their failure to retake the House of Representatives, their loss of the Senate, and their defeat by Trump in the presidential race.
Pelosi has claimed that Biden should not immediately have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and suggested that the decision led to her embarrassing defeat.
“I think it’s really ironic that you have a woman at age 84, and she is still hanging on. Why not give a younger generation an opportunity to occupy that seat?” he added.

Fetterman nails pecker puss Pelosi. She reveled in her role as the queen bee of the Dems. Now Trump has destroyed pecker puss and the power she holds dear. How sweet it is.
Jefferies is weak and indecisive, I do not look for him to survive long... Shumer is DOA and knows it. I frankly have no idea who is waiting in the wings as the bench is just that shallow.

Pelosi obviously had a preferred replacement for Biden, but Biden's puppeteers promoted Harris before anyone else could be pushed in - maybe even with a sham quicky primary. I wonder who Pelosi had picked.
There was some talk about the choice having to be Harris because if it wasn't her the campaign warchest couldn't have been tapped, but if there were rules to that effect I doubt they would have been enforced between Democrats on the FEC and the courts

According to Lindy Li (former DNC donor and fundraiser) Biden picked Harris as his VP because James Clyburn wanted him to, and he felt that he needed Clyburn’s support to win.

sotu speech on live tv, she was finishing off Trump for good.
So Hakeem Jeffries is just a figurehead and Nasty Nancy is still running the show. With the Rats its all a facade to hide the truth from the public.
