If you; don't have babies, a bunch of your young people die and a number of those still living leave the area, your population goes down?

I’ve said it before. Soon there will not be a Ukraine to save. Nobody will be left. Foolish people.

Emigration is high cause if Ukraine wins, it’s still a kleptocracy...who wants to fight and die for a kleptocracy?

At least 5 million more have fled and live outside Ukraine, and a fifth of the country — another 5 million people — is under Russian occupation.
Sounds like 10 million Ukrainians not being counted as Ukrainians in the article.
Once the war is over, it's likely that those who fled the war will come back; perhaps not all, but the majority The occupied territory is still Ukrainian territory, and when the war is over and if Russia is not gifted that territory, those Ukrainians will be counted as Ukrainians.
The war is still ongoing, but the number who still identify as Ukrainians will be more than the article suggests. And who is going to have babies during war?

They don’t have as high a suicide rate as their neighbor.

Ukrainian migrants like America.
Zelensky should spend less time in DC, and more time finding potential military recruits in Brooklyn/Brighton Beach.

Now just 31 million live in land controlled by Kyiv. NO. Its probably less than 20 million.
Last census in 2001 was 48.4 million
EU estimates 300K-400K emigrated from Ukraine every year since 1991
Lowest birth rates (and highest abortion rates) in Europe for 30 years
Lost 2.5 million in Crimea
Lost 6.5 million in Donbas
Since 2022 lost 7-8 million going west, and 2 million going to Russia.
Add the number killed in the war (?)
EU-Brussels globohomo now wants them to throw their final male population 18-25 cohort into the meat-grinder. Don't worry - Ukraine can be repopulated with Turks, Arabs and Africans.

Russia is not immune from the effects of war either.
Russia's population is declining, a trend exacerbated by low birth rates, high mortality rates, and the ongoing war in Ukraine, with some projections suggesting a potential population drop of 20% by the end of the century.
End of the century is a long time off, but, who wants to live under tyrannical rule? People have been leaving Russia since forever.

This is what is meant by a war of attrition. The homeland gets depopulated, and the remaining few can no longer raise a resistance.
Targeted for annihilation. Is this not - genocide?

Must be Russian propaganda.(Sarc)
What’s worst of all, this is war between countries where you have a high literacy rate, people that are cultured, have western values... There are literally engineers, farmers, Olympic athletes, people from all the trades, computer programmers, and school teachers getting blown to $hit on both sides.
I’m going to be honest, even though in Obama’s world this is racist. If you kill 750,000 in Rowada, nothing will change. But both of these countries produce things people around the world want, they are nations that change the course of time, impact culture through the arts...
Horrible waste of life.

Once the war is over, it's likely that those who fled the war will come back; perhaps not all, but the majority. Long before Victoria Nuland of the U.S. State Department and her globalists cohorts overthrew the Ukrainian government in 2014, the young in Ukraine wanted Ukraine to join the EU - not to better Ukraine but to get their EU work cards and leave.
