The “X” post the Geller site links to is no longer there - likely a hoax
If it is BS, I hope Team Trump is listening - and makes it a reality.
It’s satire.
Where is the satire?
Ensuring the Enforcement of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(c)
This is the most recent action by the Executive..
It is in reference to the lawsuits.
But it’s about making the filers of these lawsuits to post security to cover the estimated costs and damages with the injunction.
From the Executive action:
Consistent with applicable law, the heads of executive departments and agencies (agencies), in consultation with the Attorney General, are directed to ensure that their respective agencies properly request under Rule 65(c) that Federal district courts require plaintiffs to post security equal to the Federal Government’s potential costs and damages from a wrongly issued injunction. The scope of this directive covers all lawsuits filed against the Federal Government seeking an injunction where agencies can show expected monetary damages or costs from the requested preliminary relief, unless extraordinary circumstances justify an exception.
FAKE NEWS
Geller Report
LOL
Trash
I hope this is true but I am puzzled. How can the judiciary take control of executive decisions in agencies that are part of the executive? We have or had separation of powers in our constitution.
And thus it removes the question of whether said agencies must abide by lower court rulings or POTUS.
Makes perfect sense.
Spell check is your friend
there’s zero confirmation of this on the internet
this is total bullshit ... the geller report is a garbage website that has more unreliable and consistently been more full of shit than msnbc and cnn combined ... nothing on the geller report should ever be posted here ...
if President Trump was going to do ignore the courts, he wouldn’t NEED to sign an EO, nor would he want to ...
President Trump’s EO’s have essentially been announcements of his policies to his cabinet, his officers, and the rest of the FedGov employee’s about what he expects them to do and not to do ....
furthermore, President Trump would not publicly announce in any fashion that he was going to take actions counter to court orders: he’d just do it ...
and finally, President Trump would likely selectively ignore certain orders and NOT just violate them in wholesale fashion ... for one thing a wholesale violation would piss of SCOTUS to no end, even if SCOTUS thought the orders were illegal ... SCOTUS would want to be the ones to slap down illegal orders ...
“He doesn’t need an EO saying he will ignore.
An EO would instruct his agencies to ignore.”
#############################
Assuming it’s true, an EO would put any lower court on notice that their efforts would be in vain, so don’t even try.
The best defense is a good offense.
Didn’t they say he signed an EO about seeking attorneys fees against the dems’ lawyer army, when it was actually a memo?
I think they’re trying to spackle our butt cracks with cool whip.
And a brain could be yours’s...
nobody does
I saw it on the internet, so it must be true!
(some people are so gullible)
“yours’s?”
Fake news?
