A total lunar eclipse will be seen across North America on the night of March 13-14, 2025, while parts of Europe will get a brief view.

On the night of March 13-14, 2025, a total lunar eclipse will be visible from Earth, and North America will be in the prime position for the spectacular event, which will also feature a "Blood Moon."

Lunar eclipses happen when Earth is between the sun and a full moon. During the event, the moon moves through Earth's umbra, the dark center of its shadow.

Lunar eclipses are global events that occur at the same time for everyone. This one will happen between 03:57 and 10:00 UTC on Friday, March 14, 2025, with the spectacular 65-minute-long totality — when the entire lunar surface will be reddish — happening between 06:26 and 07:31 UTC. That translates to the following local times in North America:

A few years ago I look3d up in the sky and witnessed a corona- ran and got camera- pretty cool and a bit spooky to witness.

I stylized it quite a bit for an “artsy look” (which I actuslly don’t care for) but the Corona is visible here.

I don’t even understand what a “blood moon” is. It seems to be a catch-all phrase for those wanting to inject prophesy horror into the public narrative.

I’ve never heard it called a “blood moon” ever in my life until about the last half a decade. It was always referred to as a “total lunar eclipse.”

I don’t know what the reasoning is for the change in terminology.

In our area of North America, it will be interesting if the Moon remains visible. The meteorological Wizards of Smart have “predicted” and “forecasted” 100% rain today AND tomorrow. At this moment, there is BRIGHT sunlight. As I have stated before, I could never use their phraseology and remain employed:

maybe, perhaps, chance of, partly.

The last one is my favorite. There are areas where the “experts” would interchange “partly cloudy” and “partly sunny” for months. If the clouds burned off, they would just claim that “there was a bit more sun today.” If there were more clouds than predicted, they would say “the sun had a harder time today.”

They get paid mucho $$$ for maybe, perhaps, chance of.

In any job I ever had, there was no “chance of” a paycheck if I ever used their phraseology.

One of the key events of the messianic era will be the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. In this myth the problem of rebuilding the Temple is solved by having the heavenly Jerusalem— including the heavenly Temple— descend to earth and settle on the tops of four (or in some versions, three) mountains.

This myth of the descent of the heavenly Jerusalem is based on two biblical verses.

One, from Isaiah, says. In the days to come the Mount of Yahweh's house shall stand firm above the mountains (Isa. 2:2). The other verse. How welcome on the mountain are the foot- steps of the herald announcing happiness (Isa. 52:7), is given a mythic interpretation, where the messenger is the heavenly city of Jerusalem, here brought down to earth as a sym- bol of the transformation that will take place in the messianic era. The funny pun is the punny English translation for what it says on the Hebrew wiki page for the flag meaning:

Punny, because take a look at Psalm 72:17, starting on the mem in shemesh (as written, k):
