Russian President Vladimir Putin has had only one telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump since he took office as president of the United States in January 2025, said Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, APA reports citing TASS.
"Their phone conversations are not so frequent. Actually, they had a discussion once during this presidential iteration," he said.
The last telephone call between Putin and Trump, of which the Kremlin informed, took place on February 12. They discussed stopping fighting in Ukraine, bilateral relations, some other topics, and agreed to continue contacts and organize a personal meeting.
