WNBA had a moment. They had a chance. They could have become a hot new sport, with a big star. But they decided to just whup dat white girl’s ass instead. At this point, I’d say they are all overpaid and their sport needs to die.

Beat up your white girl pinata some more, Angel.
And make me a sammich.

The job is important, relatively, the players are not. Sitting out can only result in exit from the game to be replaced by somebody who wants to play the game.
If WNBA wants more money, give a game that entertains people.

"The WNBA don't pay my bills at all. I don't even think it pays one of my bills. Literally," Reese said. Then, find other work.
Any paycheck she's getting is literally charity since the WNBA has never turned a profit.

Still having that period once a month Reese? If not, join the NBA and make some real money.

But they decided to just whup dat white girl’s ass instead. Not only that but she decided to "bend the knee".
So I predict that CC won't be drawing the fans she like she did last year in her WNBA debut and while she was playing at Iowa.

Is she sharing the proceeds from her namesake McDonald’s meal campaign? But she expects excessive payment for doing something almost no one wants to watch and won’t be hurt herself by sitting out.
To: alstewartfan
She/he/it lost me at “we sitting out.”

Wait a minute... So what you’re saying is... That there’s a woman’s basketball league and they actually ‘pay’ the players to play in it???
That’s astounding... Are any of them actually women?

Too bad. Because Clark is a star. And a part of her appeal is that all the fans could relate to her. Used to, anyway.
