Fine Weather-False Rumors-Mud Disappearing Movements of the Enemy.

Special Dispatch to the New-York Times.

WASHINGTON, Wednesday, March 8.

The enemy are reported as having massed in front of the Second Corps, seemingly in anticipation of the move they are in such dread of.

GEORGE F. WILLIAMS.

REBEL REPORTS.

From the Richmond Whig, March 6.

GRANT being repulsed whenever he chooses to make an attack.

As to SHERMAN, it is difficult to make out his programme. We suppose he will be governed by circumstances. Now that Charleston

Second line: “ Special dispatch to The New York Times “.

Translation: The Feds feeding their most reliable mouthpiece propaganda for the northeast consumers.

The same NYT formula for the last 165 years, for the socialist mouthpiece.
