Does anyone here use Sling?
We 'cut the cord' many years ago, and have used Roku since then; but I would like to have one or two channels that are only available to cable subscribers. (We don't want or need cable.)
I'm just wondering if anyone here has been happy with Sling, and what one needs to make it work. I'm not interested in movies, just cable news, documentaries, history,
Thanks very much.
I thought it was a bit expensive for what they offer. Some shows Sling had were free on other “channels,” but Sling offered more sports.
Utilize the free trial period if they offer one.
If you want sports (which I don't) then you'll want another TV app.
Sling is more affordable too, I was paying $40/month for Sling Blue (which includes the news channels) but price was just raised to $45/month although new subscribers should get a lower locked-in price.
Anyway, I'm happy with Sling TV.
We had it for a short time, but we use Tubi, Pluto, and FreeVee more.
Is Fox News on it?
Isnt sling tv $45-60 or per mth?
Ive been happy with amazon prime which is $15 per mth plus you get expedited deliveries.
We already have Prime, so I’m not interested in movies, but looking for other things.
Ok. Good luck. Youll probably get some insights from others.
Thanks.
I subscribed because I wanted to watch Jessie Waters...and Gutfeld. It seemed like the cheapest way. So far works fine - I watch on my laptop.
I have it. Like it.
Absolutely, it’s great to get only the channels you want. I’m going to sound like a salesman because I love this thing. You can get just blue or just orange packages, or both. But even better, you should buy and AirTV Anywhere, connect it to antenna, and then you have a lifetime free 500 hour DVR with all your local channels. Depending on where you live you can get a lot channels. We have 45 over the air in Cincinnati. AirTV works through your Sling App for free, meaning it works without a subscription. You can watch all locals and DVR recordings anywhere in the world! We absolutely love it. And you can pause sling packages for up to three months. The cheapest place to get the AirTV Anywhere is here, https://www.ontechsmartservices.com/products/airtv-anywhere
I have heard that Sling let’s you do that.
I would love to re-subscribe, but itβs a little too much money right now.
I recommend it.
I was happy with it, but they raised my price to $60 a month.
Yes, Fox News is on it.
Thanks to all. I guess we’ll try it.
Can I net a mounted fish when I check out?
Have you tried Roku Live TV?
They have hundreds of free channels.
Absolutly!
