Wrong. A standard tactic is that leftist groups file lawsuits. The government settles and adds on a standard thing where they pay the legal fees as part of the settlement.
It’sa huge source of funding for these advocacy groups, but it is not required.
Trump has directed that legal fees are no longer going to be paid. Well within his authority.

it’s not true: just more typical bullshit lies from the “geller report”, a website with near zero credibility these days ...

it’s simple enough to review a list of President Trump’s EOs at the posted link, and not one says jackshit about “Those Who Challenge Administration Policies in Court Are FINANCIALLY LIABLE When They Lose”:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/

and besides, the whole notion is ridiculous on the face of it as ONLY the courts can award legal fees, and only based on whatever is built into the law in the first place, and the default in Federal law is that opposing parties pay their own fees, though there are a few exceptions to this in Federal law, such as civil rights cases ...

“Point? If Trump doesn’t use it now you actually think democrats would not use it? Let’s get real here. It is available and there is no sense in not using it.”

Trump can do what Biden did. Implement it and before the end of your term, kill it and legislatively make sure it is never used again.

It is literally US Code. I am sure progressive judges will have no problem ruling against it like they do with lots of other laws that they don’t like. It SHOULD however work with originality judges. Time to start judge shopping the first couple ones or try to fast track it to the supremes and hope Barret or Robert’s do the right thing for a change /s.

So, the fed passes a law that violates my civil rights under the constitution.
I pay my 100 dollar fee and file a lawsuit as a citizen of the United States.
Now, I have to put up millions of dollars to buy a bond to pursue legal action?

Sounds like myself, an honest citizen, are being denied access to the legal system.

There is actually a law behind it, it has just never been enforced. I do not recall specifically which one it is.

The fact that the House and Senate are not codifying all of these EOs is an outrage, and a failure. Trump is doing amazing things on a DAILY basis... but what has the RNC done in the Legislative Branch in these same 6 weeks???? NOT MUCH!!!!!

One man is doing 20x the work of the 435 fools at the other end of the Mall.

Will this EO stand up in court?

If not, defund the court.
