...supersolids exist mainly in the quantum realmAnd the rain in Spain falls 'mainly' on the plain... But that's the problem. We don't exist in the quantum realm... The scientist do, but we don't.

Your CPU’s do, even the ones on your phones. And you interact with them - lots of them, on the internet. That’s a lot of Quantum you’re dealing with.

Tomorrow’s headline. “Without Any Evidence, Trump Makes Unscientific, Debunked Claim That light Can Be turned Into A Solid THat Flows Like Water.”

I want a hammer out of this. it couldn’t weigh much, after all it’s made of light.

I once read a long piece on quantum physics. I was left wondering if I was supposed to believe that weird stuff. For example, electrons are supposed to be capable of being in two places at the same time. And when they catch you looking at them, they change form or stand still or something like that.

As it stands, this groundbreaking research embodies a significant step into uncharted territory for understanding the fundamental building blocks of our universe. I wonder where this "significant step" stands vis-à-vis string theory, Higgs boson etc..? Or perhaps it's just an early April 1st thingy.
