Putin also took an indirect swipe at French President Emmanuel Macron, saying Western leaders should not underestimate the Russian people and should keep in mind the fate of Napoleon Bonaparte, whose invasion of Russia in 1812 ended in disaster.

Except that Russia is the invader now.

Russia’s nuclear arsenal means it can guarantee its own security.

As part of the overall deal, Russia needs to completely demilitarize Kaliningrad.

In return, perhaps the EU can confer something like a “free port” status on the territory for locally produced goods and services.

Z won’t make a deal. Trump is right to hang him out to dry. Ukraine needs to get rid of him.
If Z were smart and he is not, he would be negotiating for his parachute. Maybe he could get at this point is a 500k condo in Cyprus. Otherwise, he might get prison or worse at the hands of his political opponents.

Are the Ukrainians going to be forced to love Putin and Russia as part of the peace deal? His Special Military Operation was not an effective way to secure sincere love & sincere appreciation. The people who have lost loved ones or experienced other suffering are going to remember this on Tiktok, Instagram, and other places for decades to come.

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, March 6, 2025

Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Kremlin officials **explicitly rejected making any concessions in future peace negotiations** or accepting any US, European, or Ukrainian peace proposals and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) rejected the possibility of a negotiated ceasefire on March 6.

Putin stated during a visit to the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation’s Moscow branch on March 6 that Russia does not intend to “give in to anyone” or make any compromises in future peace negotiations.

Putin stated that Russia must choose a peace option that best suits Russia and will ensure peace in the long-term. Putin noted that Russian societal unity is critical for Russian victory in Ukraine.
