Twice in one week!........................
Did I somehow miss a mention of the launch vehicle involved?
As I thought. From an earlier article:
“The lander launched into space from Cape Canaveral aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket last week”
So Axios is lying by omission in this article, not wanting to mention SpaceX, one of Elon Musk’s companies.
It is starting to get crowded up there. Before long there will be a rush-hour rover pileup.
StarShip Flight 8 relaunch 5:30CT today.
Just curious.. when one of our Presidents talks about planting a US flag on the Moon or Mars, are we claiming it as a US territory? I never really thought about the ‘space race’ from that standpoint before.
But we landed on and walked about the moon in the 1960s...
An embarrassment of riches, oh, and of NASA. ;^)
Plus, the eighth launch of Starship/Superheavy *may* be today (I haven’t checked since just before bedtime).

Let’s all witness this production or discovery, since it’s live...1130 EST
I know the one of the founders and GNC lead engineers at Intutive Machines. He used to be a NASA GNC guy, really good.
Hopefully this landing will stick better than the previous one, which was great right up until touchdown and it tipped over.
How come they sent the Life Alert Lady up there again?
