Former Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright (R) reacted to the Democrats' reaction in post on X on Tuesday, writing, "The congressional democrats are horrible human beings. They couldn’t even stand to applaud newly sworn in Secret Service Agent DJ, a child battling cancer!!"

A brief clip that Wright reposted on X showed the majority of Democrats remaining seated while Republicans gave DJ a standing ovation.
