The Egyptians would have been building the pyramids OVER a previously installed and damaged/destroyed structure.

What’s going to be really interesting is noodling out what that structure was for and how/if it was tied into the magnetosphere.

It could turn out that Earth is actually PRIME solar, even interstellar, real estate specifically because it came ready made with an internal structure conducive to being tapped into for use a planetary defense and/or local area prime mover system.

Recall also, all of the societal groupings around that era, be they city state level to nomadic, place great significance with objects, particularly metal ones, of extraterrestrial origin.
