Officially, 2/3rds of the population in Norway are members of the Church of Norway. It receives govt funding and teaches hedonistic ways.

USA spends one trillion from a 7 trillion budget? That is almost 15%.
We are nuts. No wonder we are drowning in debt.

The threshold is not based on a percentage of the budget, it's based on percentage of GDP.

Europe will “increase” defense spending by putting the screws to the people. USAID money will dry up, but America wasn’t getting credit for the largess, anyway. Defense will get the blame, while Elites pocket the increased revenue.

You are right. I stand corrected.
So, all I know is our GDP is now quite a bit less than our national debt.

Assuming our GDP is about 30 trillion, we are at about 3% for military.
