Today's Cryptogram

Posted on 02/28/2025 3:05:01 AM PST by FroggyTheGremlim

Hiya kids! Hiya, Hiya!

Good Morning Crypto-FReepers.

I see some of the same old faces out there.

But that's OK - I like you anyway.

Here's today's quote.

You're gonna hate it - maybe hate me?

But I predict: as soon as you get the first word or two,
You'll have the whole thing nailed.

It's about a ZCGWZPJF. from GIECW JWTGD!!!

I'm expecting lots of FPDIWK clues - maybe an GIECW JWTGD clue too!

And you'll be humming to yourself all day!

Have fun!!!

Ha Ha Ha!

I'll be good - I will, (like heck) I will!

Ha ha ha.

You can find this fun quotation puzzle, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.

I challenge us with the best ones out there.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you'll be solving them all within a few days.

If you're stumped, take a break and return to it. PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out. You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today's Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!

I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal's Helper below. You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don't put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

If they re-released it, they’d make a fortune.

Solving hint: The source is sort of a giveaway and easy to guess without any other clue.

It was a fine picture, and Joel Chandler Harris was the furthest thing in the world from a bigot.

I wasn’t trying to stump folks. It Is a beautiful morning here in Pittsburgh, nice clear morning with a bright sunrise.

Have a “satisfactual” day, crypto-FReepers.

The Puzzle was, well, puzzling, until I looked at the source.

I thought the first two words. “Zip a” were a giveaway.
