Trump encourages Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to ‘fire every single’ general involved in botched Afghanistan withdrawal

President Trump argued on Wednesday that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth should “fire every single” US military general involved in the Biden administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The Pentagon chief was seated to Trump’s left during a Cabinet meeting at the White House, when a reporter asked about the current employment status of the generals tasked with organizing the August 2021 US exit from Afghanistan.

“I’m not going to tell this man what to do but I will say that if I had his place, I’d fire every single one of them, Pete,” Trump responded.

Hegseth jumped in to note that under his leadership, the Department of Defense is conducting “a complete review of every single aspect of what happened with the botched withdrawal of Afghanistan and plan to have full accountability.”

“We’re taking a very different view, obviously, than the previous administration,” the defense secretary continued, noting Trump’s nomination of retired Air Force Lt. Gen. John Dan “Razin” Caine to serve as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. “And there will be full accountability.”

Trump said he expects the Pentagon review to result in the removal of most of the generals involved in the chaotic withdrawal — which resulted in American citizens and US partners being left behind, the abandonment of billions of dollars in military equipment and the deaths of 13 US service members.

“I don’t see a big promotion in that group,” Trump said of the military generals involved in the withdrawal. “I think I think they’re going to be largely gone.”

“That was a horrible display.”

Have to get of the rid of the stink of the last regime. It was terrible. In terms of army recruiting and retention, Biden and LBJ were the worst in the country's history.

There needs to be an almighty purge of incompetents and Leftists in the US military. They’re off to a good start firing most of the Joint Chiefs but it needs to go much much deeper down the ranks than that.

He may not be punishable for Afghanistan, but justice is coming for Milley for traitorous deeds.

This Douche absolutely need to be fired and exited from the Army. I don’t care if he was Delta or not.

“I understand that the commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division has told the commander of the British special forces at the Kabul airport to cease operations beyond the airport perimeter.

Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue has told his British Army counterpart, a high-ranking field-grade officer of the British army’s 22nd Special Air Service Regiment, that British operations were embarrassing the United States military in the absence of similar U.S. military operations, according to multiple military sources. I understand that the British officer firmly rejected the request.”

Canadians, Australians and others heard the same from this @sshole

Seems Trump is trying to cast shade on the most successful military defeat in American history.

Never before in American history has the US military retreated farther and faster in such a short space of time.

Joe Biden, Lloyd Austin, Mark Milley and the rest of the Joint Chiefs of Staff have never been prouder.

From the top down they ALL serve at the pleasure of the POTUS no matter who that POTUS is and if orders are constitutional.

Very unfortunately all of those Osama/Xiden flag officers are already enjoying healthy retirements and will NEVER be held to account.

Good morning.

Unless Miley resigns his commission he can be deactivated and then court martialed.

Afghan National Arrested for Plotting an Election Day Terrorist Attack in the Name of ISIS

The US Justice Department today announced charges against a citizen of Afghanistan residing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for conspiring to conduct an Election Day terrorist attack in the United States on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO).

According to a criminal complaint filed today, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, conspired and attempted to provide material support to ISIS and obtained firearms and ammunition to conduct a violent attack on U.S. soil in the name of ISIS. As part of the plot, the defendant allegedly took steps to liquidate his family’s assets, resettle members of his family overseas, acquire AK-47 assault rifles and ammunition, and commit a terrorist attack in the United States.

“As charged, the Justice Department foiled the defendant’s plot to acquire semi-automatic weapons and commit a violent attack in the name of ISIS on U.S. soil on Election Day,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “We will continue to combat the ongoing threat that ISIS and its supporters pose to America’s national security, and we will identify, investigate, and prosecute the individuals who seek to terrorize the American people. I am deeply grateful to the public servants of the FBI, National Security Division, and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma for their work to disrupt this attack and for the work they do every day to protect our country.”

“This defendant, motivated by ISIS, allegedly conspired to commit a violent attack, on Election Day, here on our homeland,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray. “I am proud of the men and women of the FBI who uncovered and stopped the plot before anyone was harmed. Terrorism is still the FBI’s number one priority, and we will use every resource to protect the American people.”

“Thanks to the relentless efforts of the FBI, National Security Division’s Counterterrorism Section, and federal prosecutors in my office, the alleged plan to commit an attack on Election Day was disrupted and Mr. Tawhedi was arrested,” said U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester for the Western District of Oklahoma. “Fighting terrorism remains the top priority of the Justice Department. We will continue to pursue, disrupt, and hold accountable those who plot to commit acts of terrorism against our country and our people.”

Several times in my 33-year career, I advised my boss to take one course, and he chose another. I faithfully executed his orders because I got to speak my peace, and he was the boss. In the cases I recall, exactly what I said would happen, happened. Only at one company, the Israeli owned one, was I then blamed for the cockup. I was fired as a sacrifice by the Israeli company, but not the others. My point is, don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater without thoroughly sifting through it first. Good officers should not be sacrificed because they followed orders. If they didn’t, would the military be trustworthy in the future?

I second that motion!

That war made a mockery out of our brave war dead, it left billions of dollars of military equipment behind and left countless people behind. Then it allowed the enemy to just walk in and take over. We literally left there with out tails between our legs.

Why? Because a more profitable MIC war between Ukraine and Russia was being ginned up. Ukraine is a much better laundromat for the Biden Crime Family as they have much more control over it.

“I take it Milley is unpunishable at this point?”

Once upon a time, long ago, our CIA and other dark operatives were very patriotic Americans. With that said, someone like Milley would just disappear without a trace. Or get drunk and fall out of a 14th story window, or possibly have a fatal car crash.

Today this turd stain will live out his life to full term, be a poster boy for the leftist media and a pain in America’s neck for a long time.

However there might be a possibility for all of Biden’s pardons to be declared illegitimate. If somehow or another it could be proven beyond a doubt he should not have been President at the time the pardons were issued, then the pardons should be null and void. The most likely scenario would be he was not mentally competent to be President due to his mental state. Will the RINO’s have the gonads to actually proceed with this?

I would rather see this jackass stand trial for treason and be imprisoned at GITMO for life than have him mysteriously die.
