Does this mean we get to cover the entire Erf in photosynthesizing solar panels?

Thank goodness. I was afraid we might leave a few square feet uncovered.

In Isaac Asimov’s Foundation Series, the capital planet of the Galaxy was totally encased in a metal sphere, with limited access holes for entrance and exit.............

Plants do better under panels, seems wrong but plants are so inefficient they cannot use all the light hitting them they burn.through water to keep cool. Given that humans have mastered electrons into chemicals and those include acetate, starch, proteins and lipids we can drastically INCREASE food production by using 25+% efficient panels vs under 1% for plants. But even just growing plants under the panels makes them higher yield ,less stress, less water too.

Sheep and goats and cows love eating the grass and scrub brush under panels too they enjoy the shade. Higher meat yields when they have access to the literally greener grass under panels and a lot less heat stress. It’s win win for the farmers and ranchers.

A nd modern panels do not contain lead, cadmium, arsenic anymore. All mine are silver and aluminum joints under gorilla.glass impervious to the weather. I drink the rain water harvested off the roofline under them. Tested twice per year for ppm never been anything but steel roof Fe and chromium.
