Doomcock Was Right.
If this had happened 7 years ago, I would have been thrilled. That’s because 7 years ago I was still a Star Wars fan.
IV, V, VI: OK
I, II, III: I can tolerate
> VI: Dead to me
There’s nothing left of Star Wars so her work is done . Steven Spielberg said back in the day she was suppose to take notes at meetings and couldn’t even do that right
The franchise has already worn itself out. Like 40 years ago.
Let it go.
Why not come up with something new and different? There’s an entire retro-futurism universe that could be mined. Just come up with a hero’s journey script. Stick with the basics. Toss in a maiden to be rescued.
I just felt a tremor in the force. As if numerous DEI liberals suddenly cried out in pain.
Kathleen Kennedy who says, “Put another gay diverse woman in it! Make it more f’n lame!”
If they want to make some decent money buy out Firefly from FOX and let Whedon have control of it back again.
Apparently, she didn’t make it lame and gay enough.
Now that she’s completely destroyed the Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises and cost Disney literally billions of dollars with her Feminazi/Woke BS nobody wanted to watch......
The franchise had a story to it. Rather than continuing to tell that story, Kathleen Kennedy chose to kill off the original story and move on to building the Woke Star.
There is no going back now. She needed to connect with the older fans and build to the story in a way to engender a younger fans base. It would have been a challenge they would have been hard to accomplish. She made it impossible.
So ya, it’s dead.
> Can Star Wars reclaim its uncontested cinematic throne?
Only if they do a crossover and bring in Deadpool to train the next generation of Jedi.
I stopped watching after the Teddy Bears.
Yes, they really made it and showed it on television. The horror.
Have any other sources reported on this? The trade rags, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, etc?
It is 10 years late coming.
Failed? She succeeded beyond her wildest expectations in completely destroying Star Wars for generations to come. She did a pretty good number on Indiana Jones.
