As of this post, Mexican eggs are about half the price of our eggs ($4 here. About $2 there) They don't wash eggs there. So, that cuts some of the price out.

They also don’t worry about minor illnesses. If you die, you die.

I just raid the spotted owl nests in the woods behind my house when I need eggs.

Nothing beats a good owlmelet.

I’m here in Cabo San Lucas now. Recently the smallest amount of eggs available at the Walmart was a pack of 30, which I think were 150 pesos, or about $7.50. There’s definitely no shortage of them here.

Darrell, one of the brothers on the later Bob Newhart Show.

Darrell: Darrell picked up some eggs if you want breakfast.

Newhart: Great. But....they’re the regular hen’s eggs, right? Not some other kinds?

Darrell: Uh....(Looking unsure).

Hacksaw required. One does not crack these eggs open on the edge of the pan. It will dent the pan.
