Trump rattles off ‘flagrant scams’ uncovered by DOGE, takes aim at Fort Knox in CPAC speech

President Donald Trump celebrated his whirlwind first four weeks back in the Oval Office in a speech before the Conservative Political Action Conference Saturday afternoon, mentioning what he called "flagrant scams" uncovered by Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency.

"I signed an order creating the Department of Government Efficiency — you probably haven't heard of it — which is now waging war on government waste, fraud and abuse. And Elon is doing a great job," Trump said at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center Saturday in Oxon Hill, Maryland, just outside the nation's capital. "He's doing a great job."

Musk is leading DOGE as investigators scrutinize various federal agencies in an effort to curb government overspending and stamp out fraud. DOGE's work has become a lightning rod for criticism among Democratic lawmakers and government employees, who have filed a number of lawsuits attempting to end the investigations and audits.

"Here are some of the flagrant scams that, as an example, they've spent money on, and we've been able to recapture a large dose of it at least. Five hundred and 20 million dollars for a consultant … [on] environmental, social governance and investments in Africa," he said.

"Twenty-five million dollars to promote biodiversity conservation and socially responsible behavior in Colombia. This is Colombia, South America, not Columbia University. Of course, that might be worse. … Forty million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants.

"Forty-two million for social and behavior change in Uganda. Ten million for Mozambique medical male circumcisions. Why are we going to Mozambique to do circumcisions?" Trump asked, before continuing to rattle off a handful of other pricey initiatives funded by taxpayers uncovered by DOGE.

President Trump also announced for the first time the actual amount of US aid to Ukraine: $67 billion in military aid, $31.5 billion in direct budget support.

None of which was a “loan”.

As for the rest of the expenditure - notwithstanding a load of dough being siphoned off for kickbacks and laundering, most of it’s gone to established US defense suppliers and international partners, to replenish obsolete US kit for American use.

Not only is he pulling the plug on further funding for Ukraine, he’s demanding Ukraine set aside $500bn of natural assets for the USA.

If Ukraine can afford to take the deal, and these minerals can be extracted without huge expenditure, the USA stands to make 1500% profit over three decades. More than enough to offset the grifting.

Watchdogs “Open the Books” looked at grants by the Biden HHS’ “Office of Refugee Resettlement.” In FY 2021, Biden distributed $2.4 billion tax dollars for refugees, and unaccompanied children who jumped our border illegally.

In FY 2022, Biden distributed $3.4 billion, that skyrocketed to $10 billion in FY 2023 before being reduced to $4.2 billion in FY 2024.

According to “Open the Books”, Biden gave our tax dollar billions
<><>to help migrants save for car and home purchases,
<><>for business and personal loans,
<><>for legal aid and cultural orientation.

President Trump also announced for the first time the actual amount of US aid to Ukraine: $67 billion in military aid, $31.5 billion in direct budget support.

Those figures came from Zelensky, not Trump or anyone in his administration.

"In total, the U.S. separately gave us about $67 billion in weapons, and we received $31.5 billion in budget support," Zelensky said.

O'Keeffe has some breaking news on this. She may have known in advance the fires were going to happen so she wanted to be far away when they did.

Trump Secy of State, Marco Rubio, has assumed control over the USAID agency following revelations from DOGE that USAID engaged in widespread waste and abuse of taxpayer dollars.

In just weeks, Musk’s DOGE initiative has uncovered billions in govt
waste and corruption, exposing rampant mismanagement of taxpayer dollars.
<><>$1.7 billion in unspent COVID relief funds,
<><>$3 billion lost to fraudulent unemployment claims,
<><>$800 million wasted on failed green energy projects.
<><>$200 million on diversity training for bureaucrats
<><> $4.5 billion in foreign aid to hostile regimes with little oversight
<><>$350 billion just to Ukraine
<><>$4.5 trillion in Treasury payments cannot be accounted for.

DOGE REPORT—The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code
linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (a standard financial process).

In the corrupt Democrat Govt, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in Treasury payments, left “blank,” making traceability almost impossible.

As of Saturday, Trump made this a required field, increasing taxpayers’ insight into where their money is actually going.

Each bar is worth $1.1m

They’re expecting spot checks.

Take the time to check every bar for purity.

100 bars per hour is possible... per station.

Set up 16+ stations and stream the purity levels live in a 4x4 grid

Should take 10 days doing 24x7

“Why are we going to Mozambique to do circumcisions?”

…great question! Why isn’t this one simple question asked on the countless panels and interviews with Dems while raising the roof about DOGE?!

In the spirit of Musk! A quick bow to your passion and planning. Once the success starts, it’s amazing how fast the momentum for it to continue grows, while new ideas from knowledgeable and inventive individuals rises and spreads. Great thinking!

Yes it is a private property takeover. In other news, BLUE states are getting rid of small landlords by legislation (death by a thousand cuts) which essentially hog ties private property owners and gives tenants more rights than the actual owners.
