Kentucky seems a bit blue, so they undoubtedly have taxes and costs that are making them uncompetitive.
It CERTAINLY doesn’t know how to vote for a decent Republican Senator..... just sayin’
A bit blue? Maybe for the governor, who is apparently charismatic and not so leftist. Trump won KY by a ton and the Republican senators win pretty easily as well. And the state legislature is overwhelmingly Republican.
But the West End expanded east and is now worse than ever. I wouldn't be surprised if KFC left because it's just unsafe.
Ky is a very red state. Republican’s have super-majorities in both State legislature bodies. They have been reducing state income taxes for the past several years. We’ve come down from 5% to 3.5% for this year.
But, Louisville is a heavily Democrat city. The CITY has a 2.2% income tax. And, the city has not recovered from the Brionna Taylor/ BLM riots from 2020. Several corporate entities have already left, or planning to leave.
