Yes. Big State gets a nice sin tax windfall from gambling.

As well as marijuana, alcohol, cigarettes, lotteries, etc.

No word yet on the societal damages these sins cause, but hey... The State gets their share.

Having been to the HOF, while Pete Rose doesn’t have a plaque enshrining him there, there are some exhibits with boards showing the career leaders in a number of baseball stats. At the time I visited Rose was of course at the top of hits so he is in the HOF in a manner of speaking.

I was a counselor for twenty years. Never did much with gambling. Just didn’t understand it, because I didn’t want to lose my money and I can’t win off a lottery ticket. Not once did I ever win anything, so I wasn’t going to do that.

Heading for 36 years off the booze in my ripe old age. That one was hard enough.

Young men and college guys love to act like they are big time “Players” with sports gambling and thinks it make them look wicked cool around their buds.....that is until the eventual depletion of their life savings and credit.
You still cool now Bro?

I think I know a thing or two about sports, but most important, I know I pretty much suck at sports gambling, so I stay away.

Now in the tail end of this thread, tell me what language your tagline is, and what it says. Knowing a little Dutch hasn’t helped me.
