To be fair, I watched the entire skit. This MAGA/Hanks portion is a small part in SNL's Black Jeopardy skit, which spent a lot of time poking fun at black stereotypes. Including Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock.

I saw the original sketch, don’t know if this was a replay. Tom recoils when the exuberant black host comes at him for a hug, after agreeing with one of his answers. The point of the sketch actually showed how rural folks and blacks have similar worldviews.
