Still miss him every day. I would have loved to hear him talking about the events of the past year with Trump’s campaign, the assassination attempts, the election, the inauguration, the bold DOGE efforts to root out the Swamp rats, etc. He would have had SO MUCH to talk about.

I was so happy to see Trump award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in his last days, and to hear Rush tell the story about how he got invited to Trump's state of the union address made me laugh.

When I retired, Rush was on my radio every day, noon to three, without fail.

January 1989: While on vacation in Florida we're driving down I-75 in the Tampa area. I tuned to WFLA radio and Rush was on. I had never heard of him but I listened for a while. After about 20 minutes I realized "geeze....this guy believes exactly what I believe!". I was hooked.

But he didn't reach Boston radio for at least a year or two after that so I had to go without until then.

I remember Rush often telling us that he would let us know when it was time to worry. I wonder if he would’ve said it in October or November of 2024. However, God saw fit to answer the prayers of so many of us, by letting the cheaters not get away with as much cheating as they did in 2020. Had Kamala been selected, our country would be in even more dire straits than what we had with Burden.

In 1988 where I where I worked at the time, I used to eat my lunch in my truck while listening to Paul Harvey.

Then one day I turned on the radio and they had replace Paul with this Rush guy.

I was furious. I called the radio station and complained and they said just give this guy a listen and I would like him.

Grudgingly, I had no other choice but to listen. Rush explained that we would not ‘get him’ for at least six weeks of listening. He was right. It took at least six weeks for me to get over losing Paul Harvey and liking Rush’s show...............

Rush was one of a kind — never to be replaced — by anyone. I haven’t listened to talk radio since he passed. Miss you, Rush. Wish you were still here.
