Any examples Lord Sumption? Because there are plenty of examples of this crap on your side. Such as ignoring 20+ years of grooming and rape of young girls by Islamics by the UK authorities. And, of course, if anyone questioned this malfeasance, they were locked up, or otherwise penalized.

Some Lord Something-or-Other has been saying Americans are silly and immature since 1776. They got whipped and ran home in 1781. Andy Jackson, regulars, and militias from a number of states ran them off from New Orleans through briar’s and brambles and places where a rabbit couldn’t go in 1815.
