A 13 minute video with weather maps. Not an MSM sensationalist fear porn.
Risk of severe weather down south and the northeast is expecting snow and ice.
Our forecast for Sunday after ~ 6" of snow, is freezing rain with a high of 22F!
I can't think of any other time that I've seen forecasts for rain with a high that far below freezing.
It's not too late to prepare but I'll bet the stores are going to be mobbed today.
Northeast weather ping.
This weather reminds me of what it was like here in the 60’s/70’s. Some global warming would be nice.
However, I seem to recall that Michigan license plates used to say “WINTER WONDERLAND”
Trump’s Fault/Global Warming......I can smell it now.....
Looking forward to it. We’re leaving Sunday to drive from Baltimore to New Orleans for a trade show.
I actually enjoy adverse driving conditions.
Looks like frigid temps and snow here. Flooding today with temps in the 30’s.
MAGA!
Just checked Zoom.Earth and I see nothing
Bump.
I guess the PNW is not affected by this. Our forecast is showing temps in the 50s a few days out!

Doesn’t this storm have a name? I don’t take weather seriously if it isn’t named. And it needs a back story worthy of a Marvel movie. Also it needs action figures, t-shirts and a music video.
Sigh. More proof of global warming. Again.
“Not an MSM sensationalist fear porn.” That’s exactly what it is. His voice is always full of doom. It’s the frickin’ weather, not a nuclear weapon.
Here we go again. Frickin’ climate change.
Southern Wisconsin here; we had a system blow through last evening dumping nearly 3” of snow in less than 2 hours. Expecting an additional 3-6” today. Next week will be brutal. Highs in single digits. Lows 🥶🥶🥶
Welcome to New Hampshire.
Saw projection for my region of South Jersey on Weather Channel this morning ...Wed .57 inches of precipitation, Thurs .95 Thats minimum of 15 inches of snow. Not the most I remember for Feb but it sure is a lot for us.
Looking forward to at least four inches of snow and low temps around zero to 10 degrees for three days.
Some of us with good memories recall that such winter storms are not unusual in this country . My father, a small town family doctor, recounted the Armistice Day blizzard of 1940 and how in white out conditions he traveled to a farm to deliver a baby. I remember the winter of 1968-69 with a total of 100” inches of snow and numerous howling blizzards as well as the brutal winter of 1978. Somehow we survive these storms.
