Could terrorists engineer lethal bioweapons against non-terrorists?

Frank Herbert thought so. He wrote the "Dune" books; he wrote about blowback from the Irish "troubles" in which a virology scientist, engineers a disease that kills all women, of all races. The books is called White Plague.

Current bio-warfare policy is not to wipe out tens of millions of people, notwithstanding the Spanish flu (accidental) and Dr. Ralph Baric's insertion of the furin clevage site into the Sars Covid 2008 that formerly could not surpass the blood-brain barrier until deliberately engineered (non-accidental). Current bio-warfare policy is toward high-infectious, low-lethality organisms, to cause economic injury to countries like China and Iran, to put 100,000s in the hospital, not the morgues.

Four hyphens in the middle of the top line, BatRaTG13, show the lack of the Dr. Baric's inserted, furin cleavage site ("Wuhan"), which allowed harmless Sars Covid 2008 which was incapable of surmounting the blood-brain barrier, to bypass that defense.

Non-state terrorist bio-weapon engineers could possibly avail themselves of older technology like CRISPR to produce, not a low-lethality organism, but a high lethality one. And could this be targeted against non-terrorist ethnic groups?

The work for this was performed decades ago. Organisms targeting native Africans in the southern countries were produced early on. Then Tong Zeng, a Chinese human rights activist (who was famous for asking for World War II reparations from Japan), suggested, in effect, that SARS 2003 was a laboratory creation that was genetically targeted at Han people. This was in his 2003 book "The last line of defense: the Chinese gene loss".

Corroborating, residual evidence for this from 2003 can be seen for this in a simple Google search on the terms "Asians targeted SARS"--it seems there are news items that can still be seen, that Asians were being attacked on the street, although fewer than 100 people died from it, seemingly all in several "oriental" countries.

This is bad news, because there is a ready supply of terrorists capable of doing the technical work: In the aftermath of the Iraq war, it was reported that highly educated people of ethnic groups suspected of jihadist radicalization are present in Western countries like the U.K.

Before we raze a seaside region, before we expel the terrorists, we should heed the words of the Wisdom of Yeshua the Son of Sirach, or Ecclesiasticus:

Sirach 4:1-10 (KJV)

1 My son, defraud not the poor of his living, and make not the needy eyes to wait long.
2 Make not an hungry soul sorrowful; neither provoke a man in his distress.
3 Add not more trouble to an heart that is vexed; and defer not to give to him that is in need.
4 Reject not the supplication of the afflicted; neither turn away thy face from a poor man.
5 Turn not away thine eye from the needy, and give him none occasion to curse thee:
6 For if he curse thee in the bitterness of his soul, his prayer shall be heard of him that made him.
7 Get thyself the love of the congregation, and bow thy head to a great man.
8 Let it not grieve thee to bow down thine ear to the poor, and give him a friendly answer with meekness.
9 Deliver him that suffereth wrong from the hand of the oppressor; and be not fainthearted when thou sittest in judgment.
10 Be as a father unto the fatherless, and instead of an husband unto their mother: so shalt thou be as the son of the most High, and he shall love thee more than thy mother doth.

If you don’t want to do the heavy lifting of reading what is written and pausing to digest it, go back to sucking on beers and drooling in front of the t.v.

They managed to use diseases as weapons in the Middle Ages, maybe even before that.

With a collage education, paid for by USAID, today’s aspiring terrorist can CRISPER any genome.

Don’t know about creating a new plague but imagine dispersing mustard gas in theNew York subway just prior to morning rush hour. The Iranians have been making that stuff since the early 80’s.

Why not do all those things? Win-win.

Before we raze a seaside region, before we expel the terrorists, we should heed the words of the Wisdom of Yeshua the Son of Sirach, or Ecclesiasticus: Sirach 4:1-10 (KJV)

To cite the book of Sirach (knowing that many see "Yeshua" as Christ Himself without a clarifying statement) as if it were canon in the KJV is little short of deceptive. There is no book of Sirach in my 1611 KJV. You should have referenced it as "Ecclesiasticus."

Sidrach: A Jewish wisdom book from the Second Temple period, written by Ben Sira in Hebrew and translated by his grandson into Greek. It is included in the Septuagint and the Old Testament of some Christian traditions, but not in the Hebrew Bible

It's an opinion reflecting yours.

I’m seeing Chapter 4 of Sirach/Ecclesiasticus in archaic language at

https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/1611_Ecclesiasticus-Chapter-4/

I would have to caution, that even demons can’t see into the heart (they judge external signs like poker players), but only the Lord knows the heart from the inside, closer than the marrow. (”And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.” - John 2:25)

Gold and Silver are refined in the fire, but the Lord tests the Hearts. - Proverbs 17:3

“(Yea a sword shall pearce thorow thy owne soule also) that the thoughts of many hearts may be reuealed.” - Luke 2:35, KJV 1611

When a person “doesn’t know what they think they know”, it used to be called rash judgment.

We call it “subjectifying ourselves while objectifying others”, but our mighty Lord whittled it down to the pithy:

Why do you see the speck in your brother’s eye, but ignore the 2 x 4 in your own? - Matthew 7: 3-5

Oh, BTW (It is included in the Septuagint and the Old Testament of some Christian traditions, but not in the Hebrew Bible)

There are hundreds of sayings of our Mighty Lord Himself in the New Testament, which are apparently lacking in the original Hebrew Bible, but are in the Septuagint, Greek Translation, which apparently was what He considered scripture.

That was noted in what I posted, that is, if you weren't so angry that anyone would express the temerity to admonish the awesome you, you could have read what was written.

That 2X4 is most becoming of you. It's so easy to fling that one that its accuracy is somewhat lacking.

The first recorded use of bioweaponry took place in 1347 when Mongols catapulted plague-infested carcasses into the walled city of Caffa, which was a Black Sea trading outpost for the Genoese in the Black Sea.

Some historians think ships returning from there to Italy was how the plague that was running amok in Asia was introduced into Europe, starting a pandemic of the black death that killed on the order of 25 million people.

More recently, more than a decade ago Al-Qaeda was known to be trying to figure a way to get someone into Africa and infected with Ebola, then get them into a major US city before they became symptomatic with the mission to spread their bodily fluids by every means possible.

An estimate places the number of Irish killed by the British since the conquest of Ireland by Oliver Cromwell in 1649 at 11 million. During the potato famine, bumper harvests of agricultural crops for export to Britain were guarded by British soliery. (It’s controversial, rather a forbidden topic, because a number of the soldiers were actually Irish.)

We became terrorists. That is a designation for non-state combattants who use terroristic tactics. When the Dresden Firestorm took an estimated 300,000 lives of non-combattants, the official state-wielded terror was justified because “they voted for Hitler”, even though very many were German-speaking non-citizen refugees fleeing the Russians.

There seems to be an immportant disctinction, between approved state-wielded terrorism and unauthorized non-state terrorism. A faction of the Kurds are sponsored in Syria by the U.S., they threaten the sovereignty of Turkiye and Iran, and so are a designated terrorist group. Various leaders of a certain middle-east country whose name we dare not pronounce were former terrorists with a strong streak of organized crime. The dumping of tea into Boston harbor could be construed as a “terroristic” act, even though the American Colonials had evidence from purposeful support of starvation by British authorities—oh wait, was that in 1770 or in 1943?—that they were going to get a raw deal from the government of King George III if they didn’t make trouble first.

It isn’t just a matter of perspective. If you are an innocent family and you are driven beyond the point of desperation, you can easily end up a terrorist yourself.
