Timeline: Federal Judge Didn’t Even Read Final Complaint Before Enjoining Trump
The Federalist ^

New York federal Judge Paul Engelmayer’s temporary restraining order blocking the Trump administration’s access to Treasury documents happened so fast it’s unlikely he carefully read the case filings. The filings from the 19 suing Democrat state attorneys generals were so voluminous, and Engelmayer’s order was entered so quickly, that it could not possibly have been the product of reasoned judicial analysis and reflection. The stench is so bad, questions of possible corruption must be answered.

Engelmayer is the first judge ever to grant a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the president of the United States that also forbids a cabinet secretary from accessing his own records without giving these parties an opportunity to respond. He offered zero analysis of his constitutional authority to make such a radical ruling, the federal rule governing injunctions and temporary restraining orders, or why he is enabling fraud and grift by blocking access to records that show who got government money and for what.

My thoughts:
It was one thing with Engoron and Merchan messing with Trump. While serious in its own right, what this judge is doing is attacking our government under the cover of a black robe. He realized the egregious overreach of the initial injunction that breached Article 2 under the US Constitution, and tried to back off enough that it didn't go in front of the Supreme Court. Congress should take a really hard look at this guy--in fact, I believe articles of impeachment are being drawn up.
The other judges issuung orders--this is being coordiated, and my guess is Norm Eisen and a few others are at the center of it. A creative and agressive prosecutor might just be able to build a RICO case, imho.

What’s the downside for the judge? Some people he doesn’t like will say harsh words about him?

that the stolen taxpayer money continued
to flow to his wife and family.

“...happened so fast it’s unlikely he carefully read the case filings.”

Oh, give him a break. Maybe he was an Evelyn Wood star pupil.

I have just finished reading the article and was going to post it here myself because this timeline proves the judge’s rulings were political in nature and had nothing to do with the Constitution or the law. Even if he had four clerks reading cited cases and preparing case memos, there is no way he could have consumed all that information and made a reasonable and well thought-out ruling based upon law.

It is past time that one or two of these political judges appear before Congress for an impeachment hearing. They think they are “above the law” (to coin a phrase I previously wanted banned from public use-LOL!) and answer to no one.

I know Andrew Clyde said he is preparing impeachment articles on one judge — it’s either Engelmayer or McConnell, I can’t remember which. In my opinion, all of them issuing such orders against Trump need to be brought before Congress to explain themselves. And any communications with Democrat operatives (and I suspect there is a lot) needs to be entered into evidence.

Democrats have been screaming “Constitutional crisis” over comments by Vance and actions by Musk. However, lawless political judges are the real crisis we are facing.

“The filings from the 19 suing Democrat state attorneys generals”

***********

Dem AG’s always have standing before the court.

Rep AG’s usually don’t.

Funny how that works.

I checked and it is Judge McConnell that Clyde has stated he is preparing impeachment articles against. He should do the same for Engelmayer.

Rep. Andrew Clyde

@Rep_Clyde
I’m drafting articles of impeachment for U.S. District Judge John McConnell Jr.

He’s a partisan activist weaponizing our judicial system to stop President Trump’s funding freeze on woke and wasteful government spending.

We must end this abusive overreach.

It's more likely that the Judge was well-prepped, coordinating with the Plaintiff Attorneys, PRIOR to the Case even being brought to Court.

I'm sure he reached a "Negotiated Settlement", on how and how much compensation he would get, BEFORE the Case ever got to Court, with a guaranteed outcome.

When interests align there doesn’t need to be shadowy back room meetings for a conspiracy to take place. Lefty judge gets a call from a Lefty friend and boom the judge signs anything set before them. No question asked.

What makes me angry is this: Go to the US Constitution and look up Article 1, Section 9, Para 7. It does not ask but demands that a written record of all monies spent by the government be kept and accessible to the public. For God’s sake, doesn’t anyone read the Constitution at all????

Go to Microsoft Co-Pilot and read it for yourself!!!

We also need to impeach Master Bates.

He has a blatant conflict of interest with family ties to a NGO.

Remember the “trickle down theory” the dems hated.

There is a lot of corruption trickling down.
