My thoughts:
It was one thing with Engoron and Merchan messing with Trump. While serious in its own right, what this judge is doing is attacking our government under the cover of a black robe. He realized the egregious overreach of the initial injunction that breached Article 2 under the US Constitution, and tried to back off enough that it didn't go in front of the Supreme Court. Congress should take a really hard look at this guy--in fact, I believe articles of impeachment are being drawn up.
The other judges issuung orders--this is being coordiated, and my guess is Norm Eisen and a few others are at the center of it. A creative and agressive prosecutor might just be able to build a RICO case, imho.

What’s the downside for the judge? Some people he doesn’t like will say harsh words about him?

“...happened so fast it’s unlikely he carefully read the case filings.”

Oh, give him a break. Maybe he was an Evelyn Wood star pupil.

I have just finished reading the article and was going to post it here myself because this timeline proves the judge’s rulings were political in nature and had nothing to do with the Constitution or the law. Even if he had four clerks reading cited cases and preparing case memos, there is no way he could have consumed all that information and made a reasonable and well thought-out ruling based upon law.

It is past time that one or two of these political judges appear before Congress for an impeachment hearing. They think they are “above the law” (to coin a phrase I previously wanted banned from public use-LOL!) and answer to no one.

I know Andrew Clyde said he is preparing impeachment articles on one judge — it’s either Engelmayer or McConnell, I can’t remember which. In my opinion, all of them issuing such orders against Trump need to be brought before Congress to explain themselves. And any communications with Democrat operatives (and I suspect there is a lot) needs to be entered into evidence.

Democrats have been screaming “Constitutional crisis” over comments by Vance and actions by Musk. However, lawless political judges are the real crisis we are facing.

“The filings from the 19 suing Democrat state attorneys generals”

***********

Dem AG’s always have standing before the court.

Rep AG’s usually don’t.

Funny how that works.

When interests align there doesn’t need to be shadowy back room meetings for a conspiracy to take place. Lefty judge gets a call from a Lefty friend and boom the judge signs anything set before them. No question asked.

My question (non lawyer). Trump as chief executive of the USA found waste, fraud and illegal transfer of taxpayer funds. All crimes. So 20 State AG’s sue and a Judge issues TRO to stop Trump and allow crimes to continue. My question why can’t the US DOJ charge and arrest the 20 AGs and the Judge for conspiracy to perpetrate crimes against the United States?

The judge could have had advance copies of the filing...and been involved from the beginning.

Engelmayer is a dirty “judge”.

judge Paul Engelmayer, who just BLOCKED a USAID reform, is married to Emily Mandestam, who works for “The New York Association For New Americans” - an NGO…
