Paint the rocks lol!
and it was hours before your ears stopped ringing
We traveled the US for 4 years, they pull smooth and are comfy. But the reputation as a quality RV have been degraded overtime, as they have repeatedly changed ownership and struggled with new features like slide outs that are difficult to engineer in an aircraft structure.
I liked living in one, but they have the same problems as any RV, and it’s hard to find good service centers as this aspect seems to be difficult to manage in today’s market.
been a while since ya did that as a boot, eh?
When Pelosi flies, to they include a double-sized garbage can?
very interesting post for an RVer like me. thx.
like a FR Canteen ‘road’ trip in the air!
I love flying space A on KC-135s. We’d climb up on the cargo—especially lucky if you find one made of boxes about chest high and flat. You weren’t freezing cold on your feet or burning hot on your head. Like Goldilocks—just right.
They put choks on the wheels once in position, and probably some straps, as they have power and other lines attached, so I’d guess rolling out, no. Steep incline with door open, maybe it comes out...
A C-5 has about 75 airliner seats upstairs and cargo aircraft can also fit palletized seating:
This looks so very similar to a Mission Impossible movie with Tom Cruise that was on last weekend except it was in a railroad car.
I wish he’d lose the ball cap; it makes him look like he’s 12. Otherwise, good for him!
They do pull pretty well but it is not especially because AS take pains with the suspension. The running gear on them, as on most RVs, is not balanced. Spin balance the tires, wheels and hubs and be amazed.
Ours is a 27FB I bought and remodeled. It shook so bad I discovered lots of popped rivets in the belly.
Indeed they are comfy but without the slide outs. I put aluminum tubing framed twin beds with six drawers under each one in and a dressing / make-up table making the bedroom much more comfortable.
I had to sit in those seats from Hickam to Clark, then Clark to Diego Garcia when I was trying to catch up with my ship after Saddam invaded Kuwait. Wearing ear protection that long sucked too. When I'm stuck flying in a cramped airline seat, I just remember those flights and order another drink.
Bill Casey did the same thing while helping Ronald Reagan defeat the USSR.

Nome? I imagine his retirement papers were making their way into the PA Salt mine by the end of business today. I am sure he will love his Full Col retirement pay.
Wow. The democrats sent out the haters to the comment section. They really really hate him. A week on the job and they are blaming him for things that happened years ago.
And dozens of “silver bullet” beer drinks. As if a real man like him would drink that swill
This is Italy. So you gotta make my bunk. If this were Germany, I’d have to make yours. That’s the regulations.
