Bureaucrats’ Plot To Undermine Trump In 2020 Election Shows More People Need To Be Fired
The Federalist ^ | February 11, 2025 | Brianna Lyman

As more details emerge about the deep state’s coordinated efforts to undermine President Donald Trump during the 2020 election, it’s clear that not only is Trump right to overhaul our bloated bureaucracy, but that more federal employees need to be shown the door.

Trump has offered a buyout to millions of federal employees, ended remote work, and has cut foreign aid to millions around the world in an effort to drain the swamp. By slashing unnecessary slush funds, he’s reducing the bloated federal workforce that’s been leeching off taxpayers.

Like clockwork, the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party released a series of reports infuriated about the moves. CNN reported “Federal employees confused, angered by Trump’s offer to quit,” while NBC News reported that “‘Fear’ and ‘chaos’ grip federal workers as Trump rapidly remakes the government,” as pointed out by Casey Chalk in these pages.

The Washington Post warned that “Trump’s revenge targets feds, expands his power and disrupts government.”

But if anything, Trump needs to scale up his efforts to clear out federal employees, because if 2020 showed us anything, it’s that the rot in DC runs deep in our federal agencies.

Just days before the 2020 election, far-left activist group Shutdown DC hosted a virtual event in conjunction with Feds for Democracy and Democracy Kitchen, entitled “Democracy Defense! Options for Federal Workers” to train federal employees “how to take action to choose democracy.”

The event suggested Trump might stage an “unconstitutional power grab” or a “coup” but that “federal workers play a key role in upholding democratic values for the entire country” and that “millions of workers across the country are in the federal service...”

Start with the patently unconstitutional Regulatory State:
$77.8 billion in 2020 & over two million civilian employees.

THAT is the 8000 pound gorilla in the corner that needs to be slain FIRST and NOW!!!

Yeah, I’d say A LOT more people need to fired and agencies shuttered if we are to recover our Free Constitutional Republic founded on governance by the Rule of Law, the Constitution - maybe the most inspired political document ever created - rather than the Rule of Man and his sea-swept whims tossed to and fro by his cunning craftiness.

I think as the years and years have passed, CNN means more to people here than it does to virtually any other group except the over 65 leftist group :)

I don’t know anyone who gets info from them anymore.

Everyone has their favorite social media news app....everyone I know under 60.

If they were relevant or had much power at all...there would have been SOME effect on the election...there was none.

It’s still fun to beat up on them and I DO SEE that newer means of communication are being posted here more and more.

I must admit, it’s still fun to see CNN and some of the others squirm and wiggle their last dying breaths as meaningful outlets :)

Some of the left’s gazillion groups:

Fury as left-wing activists ShutDownDC offer $200 bounties for intel on locations of SCOTUS judges who overturned Roe v Wade after targeting Brett Kavanaugh during steakhouse dinner
Daily Mail UK ^ | July 9, 2022 | James Gordon

A left-wing activist group is encouraging users on social media to tweet the location of any of the conservative Supreme Court Justices in exchange for money.

The justices were the majority who voted to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision last month.

Since then, pro-abortion activists have repeatedly protested outside the justices’ homes and, in some cases, confronted them in public.

ShutDownDC is promising a bounty of $50 for anyone who shares a ‘confirmed sighting’ and a further $200 if they are still in that location half an hour later.

‘DC Service Industry Workers... If you see Kavanaugh, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Coney Barrett or Roberts DM us with the details!...
