Canada Becoming the 51st State – When?
Armstrong Economics ^ | 10 Feb 25 | Martin Armstrong

ANSWER: If we are talking about economics, then yes, it would be better for Canada to merge with the USA for its own benefit. The provinces in Canada have trade barriers among each other. That would be illegal under US law, and Canada’s economy would be much better off. In addition, the mortgage market would change overnight. Where Canadians cannot get long-term mortgages, then they could, and they would be cheaper.

However, I would not see Canada as the 51st state, I would see each province as a state retaining their cultural differences. They would also benefit from a unified currency with the US dollar. Canada’s economy would boom for now, and they could sell everywhere without trade restrictions. This would be like creating the euro. There would be no FX risks.

Our computer projects that the only windows of opportunity for such a merger are 2026 and 2028. Historically, this is not some crazy idea of Trump’s. The idea of merging the US with Canada has been around since the American Revolution.

If we look at the Articles of Confederation back in 1777, there was even pre-approval for the admission of the Province of Quebec (previously known as Lower Canada) to the United States as they were anti-British.

Let trump make the call after Trump sets the conditions. Pretty fair wouldn’t you say? Let Quebec go solo. They’ll love him for it because it would be like Cortes burning his ships in Mexico-no turning back.

QUESTION:

ANSWER:
Armstrong is answering his own questions again.

Armstrong Economics (AE) is run by Martin A. Armstrong

Martin is arguably the greatest con man of all times.

He started his career as a school dropout and had two business failures. As a convicted felon (today still unrepentant), he spent 11 years in jail for cheating investors out of $700 million and hiding $15 million in assets from regulators.

Hidden rare coins cache

In his own court case in 2019, he claimed ownership of $2.5 million of assets that he hid from prosecutors (his booty). He lost the court case and paid $291,439.30 compensation. The assets were returned to the receivers.

Martin is arguably the biggest liar of all times and keeps scamming clients, mainly with false performance claims, most often as a swindler posing as a genuine customer.

Some of his fraudulent claims:

Please no. An exception would be only Albert and BC.

Canada has never been a go-it-alone country.

It has always depended on the U.S., for security and for economic trade. Thus, it’s like California. It’s been a state without being called a state officially, or officially being voted on to become a state.

Can we take only the conservative provinces? They also have the most oil.

Let me ask everyone an honest question — DO YOU HONESTLY WANT CANADA TO BE ABSORBED INTO THE USA?

BC is geographically and culturally aligned with Washington and Oregon.

If this were to really happen then Greater Idaho would have to be in the mix along with Jefferson. Do not give an inch to the left in this process.

Maybe if Trump gives Starmer a wedgie, he’ll cough it up?

I’m with you. We’d also have two different healthcare systems, and if you want to make Canada’s healthcare system similar to the US, expect riots.

Why would we want them and why would they only be one state? 10 provinces should be 10 states.

Actually, it is the Province of AlbertA, named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria.

You also forgot about Saskatchewan. Besides also having oil and natural gas, she has potash (used in fertilizer) and Uranium, the largest high-grade uranium deposits in the world. AFA British Commiefornia, you probably don't want Vancouver or Vancouver Island. That is where most of the socialists live. Other than the 'lower mainland' and Vancouver Island, the residents are fairly sane.

No, like with CaCaLand, it must be broken up into 5 states, 2 blue, three red. Pack the Senate forever.

Giving Canada access to US state programs attached to federal ones is going to be a huge mistake. Two words:

health care

Well obviously Canada will not be on such a list.

Lol.
