Hands down the best National Anthem ever to be sung at the Super Bowl. Yes, this even beats out Whitney Houston's version.

Lauren Daigle and Trombone Shorty knocked “American the Beautiful” out of the park. And NO “Black national anthem” this time around!
yep
put me down for a “NO”
It was God-awful. The Star-Spangled Banner is about the struggle to found and keep a new nation, of about any singer’s vocal gymnastics ability. My wife loves Nohn. Artiste, and she left the room. A disgrace.
Since we’re airing our gripes, the thing that annoys me beyond the, generally, sorry improvisations is the fact they mispronounce the lyrics: specifically, the word perilous. It’s per.əl.əs not per.ol.əs!
And, yes Whitney’s rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” or Ray Charles’ “America the Beautiful,” inspirations, should be pre-recorded and played at every game!
And, let’s get rid of the un-enduring and un-endearing. half-time shows! What WOKE CRAP!
Lady Gaga did a very good rendition a few years ago.
The colored shirts are the crews that work the flight deck. One of the most dangerous jobs in the world. They deserve all the respect.
Not even close. The last good rendition was Renee Fleming’s.
Nope. Way too slow
“Look at meeee!! Listen to meeee! This song is all about meeee. I don’t want to stop singing and let the football boys take over!!!
Just no
Get up, smile, sing the anthem, it’s about football and a football game. Get off the stage
The hook.
No, Kate Smith God Bless America.
I think it’s nice that the deaf community is active on social media.
Nobody better than Kate Smith for “God Bless America!”
I listened to Renee and Whitney side by side, so to speak.
Renee’s rendition was more operatic but...nonetheless brilliant!
I did love the N’Awlins piano riff in the last verse.
Not so fast...
Whitney Houston lifted her version from Sandy Patty, who sang the Star Spangled Banner at the Statue of Liberty Rededication event in 1986.

Here is Sandy Patty singing it live in concert in 1987 at the "We the People 200: The Constitutional Gala" at the Philadelphia Civic Center. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bg-3Ll2UPcQ
