I think one of the reasons we see Dem congressmen in a panic is that they know the next stages of this game: As the money trails are followed, they will start leading back to corrupt politicians and their elite friends in the NGO world and lobbyists and so forth. I will not be surprised one bit if we see scores of congressmen and women being arrested and charged with crimes similar to what took Senator Menendez down. Both parties too, though, if not in equal degree. And the media will be shrieking even louder, though when leading media figures are also arrested for their crimes the hypocrisy of their opposition will become obvious to all but the most delusional leftists.

Kinda reminds me of when I was a church going kid. They stick that basket out and expect you to put money in it and they talk at you about how you should try harder to be good. Then they stick that basket out again and expect you to put more money in. Then you line up and everyone gets to kneel in front of the priest and he gives you a tiny round piece of paper to eat.
They tell you that when you put money in the basket you are giving to the poor. What the heck? I was poor! They should have been giving to me.
