US District Court Judge Paul Engelmayer’s decided on Saturday to bar all Trump administration political appointees, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, from accessing critical Treasury Department data.
Following this decision, which was rendered ex parte and did not allow for any counterargument by any Trump official or member of the White House legal team, Engelmayer went on to extend his order to include several other areas of government.
"It is the order of this court that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is hereby banned from accessing any records, computer systems, data or paperwork related to the nation's military, and further, that he is to be banned from entering any armed forces base or the Pentagon."
"Furthermore," his order read, "US Attorney General Pam Bondi is enjoined from accessing any data, computer systems, records, or paperwork in the Department of Justice, and is ordered to recuse herself from any investigation or case the Department is engaged in. Moreover, the court directs Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and any of her subordinates to desist accessing any records, data, paperwork or computer systems related to national security in the Department of Homeland Security."
"Finally," Engelmayer's order read, "This court finds it necessary to order that President Trump or any of his assigns, be denied the right to view, possess, transmit or receive any document, record, or data pertaining to any operation of the Executive Branch."
Liberal members of the House and Senate applauded the courageous actions of Judge Engelmayer. Rep. Maxine Waters reacted positively, saying, "Dats not enough. We's gots to IMPEECH FOWTY SEVEN!"
Hey “Judge” Engelmayer: Go big or go home.
Does this mean POTUS Trump can ban Judges from courthouses? After all, the branches are equal, right?
Who the f***** do these judges think they are?
Since when do they have power to give the president orders
He’s a Domestic Terrorist and needs to be Gitmo’d.
I know, right?
Besides, Engelmayer’s order makes about as much sense as banning the Secretary of Defense from military bases.
It’s an unConstitutional Insurrection on his part.
the Bee will NOT appreciate this cultural appropriation! guarandamnteed!
I see Pam Bondi in his future.
Alinsky teaches us to mock our enemies.

The Bee's just mad I thought of it first!
Domt think he can just do this.
The executive branch runs its agencies and people. Trump isn’t doing anything unconstitutional.
Absolutely. All Trump needs to do is to issue an Executive Order.
After all, TWO can play the "Make Up Crap As We Go Along" game.
Of course.
Thus, my satire piece.
The secretary of defense is banned from entering any armed forces base or pentagon? This is beyond stupid. Just ignore this order.
Cut his Court budget and his pay to Zer0.
WAY more than it and he are worth to America.
It's satire. It compares and contrasts the satirical action with the ACTUAL action of banning DOGE, Musk, and Treasury Secretary Bessett from accessing data in Treasury.
But it is more than a little sad that the satire version is actually somewhat believable these days.
Gawd. I can almost believe something like this could happen with how crazy stupid the left is. Even if it did, watch as Trump ignores it. He’s giving so much winning already, and I haven’t had enough!
In any good satire, there is a seed of truth.
So if the Treasury Sec does not sign the checks nothing goes out. No one gets paid. Let’s see how long THAT lasts.
Can 1 judge override a Pres order?
