Ha!
Fear Strike Syndrome is very common in many breeds.
Q: How do I know this?
A: My dad was an obedience trial judge for 30 years.
A dog with ANY symptoms of FSS is immediate ejection.
One of the reasons a judge does a pat down of the dog before starting is checking for FSS.
I’ve had close calls 4 times in my life just walking down the road.
A Rottweiler, a Great Dane and two mop terriers.
One of the terriers ran across a street to attack me.
I told the owner of the Rottweiler if I was packing, their dog would be dead.
So far I’ve never seen a Golden Retriever w FSS
I have a neighbor with pit bulls with heads the size of beachballs. Whenever he walks them, they’re pulling him along as he has no control. I keep an eye out for them when walking my yellow lab, plus I carry a .380 just in case.
That breed of canine should be eliminated, and breeding, owning or selling of the animal a felony. They serve no useful purpose except for criminals...................A couple of other breeds also fall into that category...............
Police found pitbulls 'eating' owner, 22, after savage attack ...
Although I know nothing about the author, ol’ Dylan appears to have had a rough time with the English language with this article ... unless it’s merely a product of DEI.
Pit bulls should be banned - these dogs have a kill switch in their heads that are just random and only the best owners can SOMEWHAT manage it
Tenants LOVE them and call them “mixed breed” on apartment applications, then state they are “Emotional Support Animals” in which the landlord can’t discriminate.
End this ESA nonsense and you’ll get rid of 90% of the problem.
And when they are attacking, they are always wagging their tail - indicating that they are very happy.
I currently have 2 Goldens. One is pretty high strung with a light body frame. She hates noisy equipment, trash trucks, concrete trucks, dump trucks ect. She really tries to run from them. She never even threatens a bite however.
The other one is kind of an eggshell, extremely obedient, and may growl at another dog on occasion when they invade her space, but never a human.
Why do tenants love them?
Just tax the breed into extinction. Like the Canadian communists did in the 70s to Canada’s iconic St. John’s water dog.
One Pit Bull, one 9mm
Problem solved
Nope. There’s another one on FR now.
DEI and AI.
Who writes these headlines? Do they read them? How about the editor? I pictured a dog dragging someone into the ER and then leaving without giving his name.
😁.................
Oh my, you need to "up gun".
Never use one bullet when five or six will do the same job.
