Musk is the one that sounds ridiculous when he claims the economy can easily make up for a trillion dollar loss and there simply won’t be any inflation. I can’t decide if he is trying to get out a previous commitment or is really that naive to the overall budgetary process.

Growth is going to be key to all this. Hence the tariffs, you may have noticed how quickly we are gaining access to foreign markets that will help.

Economist predictions of economic effects are wild shots in the dark.

Neither of us have any clue what the impact of these policies will be on the economy—short term or long term.

Most econometric models are full of ideological assumptions which makes them totally unreliable.

The case for major dismantling of the bureaucratic Leviathan is increasing human liberty in this country.

The bureaucrats have had a boot on our face—and that needs to stop.

Hopefully it will make the economy better—but that would be a second order effect.
