Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share that Andrew was in a major car accident on Friday night. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and immediately underwent brain surgery upon arrival at the ER. He is currently in the intensive care unit fighting for his life. This community has been the most enormous blessing to us both this past year. You are all more than just his subscribers, you are people who recognize just how special he is and show up to honor that week after week with your time and kind words. I feel confident that he would want you all to know this news. Please be praying for him and sending all of the good thoughts. He wanders among vast treacherous SW desert hideouts of early Indians (feather). Who were the Indians hiding from? Spanish Conquistadors?
Drone footage investigates “unreachable” caches. I hit the 2x speed and can still follow his treks. Most comments are from Seniors who wish they could’ve done what he’s doing.
He’s got YT competition in the desert, but not quite as good. His wife has accompanied him at least once. He could have been injured trying to reach one of these sky-high hideouts.

I remember one where he was investigating a horizontal line stretching over many miles, I think involving a hilltop cairn and some markings on a cliff wall.
Within the last six months, I believe.

I looked at the comments from his family on the linked site. It said it was an auto accident. My first thought was that it was a fall in the desert. A bad head injury in the desert would most certainly be fatal.
