How long can the appalling Musk-Trump bromance go on?
Guardian ^

Should the bromance come apart, it is likely do so with a bang heard. To say the relationship is symbiotic is an understatement. Trump has the political power; Musk has endless money.“

It’s clear that (Musk) has abused his proximity to the president,” one Trump ally told Politico. “The problem is the president doesn’t have any leverage over him.”

This left-wing author is missing the whole point of Musk's role. Indeed, his role might be the most important of all those Trump has brought along into power. If Musk succeeds, Trump succeeds; if Musk fails, Trump fails.

Musk's job is to accomplish the nearly impossible, to bring the federal deficit currently growing at a rate faster than $2 trillion per year, down to a point at which the bond market will permit the American economy to survive. If it were Musk's Job to actually balance the budget it would in fact be impossible but his job is to convince the world that the budget can and will be balanced. He must do that by flamboyantly cutting expenditures, programs, boondoggles and even some worthwhile federal programs.

$2 trillion cannot be excised from federal expenditures without touching radioactive programs such as healthcare and Social Security. Therefore, Trump must make a show of cutting deeply, almost remorselessly, all other programs in order to demonstrate that the historic con job of phony cuts no longer obtains in his administration. He must gain credibility early to cut sacred cows that later will be necessary. To make the job somewhat easier, Trump intends to close the deficit gap by increasing productivity. That is a two-pronged approach that might work but neither prong alone will suffice.

So it is that if Musk fails, Trump will fail because the threat of sovereign debt failure which actually confronts us is so grave that it will mark the Trump administration for success or failure for all history.

“He does amazing things routinely.”

Sure, he is a good salesman. He chums the waters once in awhile to keep us chasing his hook. He is just waiting for the right time to jerk the line and set the hook.

Noe think about Starlink. What has he actually done there? Who would pay more for Skylink (Skynet) tracking and content data? The public or the government?

On it’s face it looks like he is doing it for the public. Trust me he is NOT... He is setting up the worlds biggest government spy and tracking network as the end goal.

And he has us begging for it because “he is a nice guy” by chumming the waters. Nope, he is baiting us. But by the time gullible trusting folks see this it will be too late. We won’t be able to go back.

"Musk seems to be wearing on Trump, because his White House coordinator did not allow Musk to have an office near the Oval Office. "

There probably wasn't a plan for him to have an office there to begin with. Nobody from the Trump team ever said he would. This is just another figment of imagination by the media. The "Guardian" is just another disinformation propaganda machine.

MUSK MAY FORCE OFFICIALS TO DISCLOSE THE ACTUAL LOCATIONS OF ALL THOSE “NATIONWIDE” CHARGERS THAT WERE FUNDED.

NO CHARGERS——WHERE IS THE $$$$$$$?

Of the two men, Trump is the stronger personality and the one with the power... and also with enough savvy to know he will have to be ‘reining in’ Musk on certain issues.

Trump needs Musk because he's the "Soros of the Right".

“Trump needs Musk because he’s the “Soros of the Right”.

Hopefully not... since anything “Soros” is turbo-mode evil. I guess we’ll see, in time. And it’s debatable whether Trump “needs” Musk if Musk somehow becomes a liability.

The same could be said about Trump but no one wants to see it. Everyone’s ego is so wrapped up in him that there is no sober analysis anymore.

The liberal media will be infuriated if Musk and Trump work well together past the 2026 midterms. So, of course they are determined to drive a wedge between those two before that happens.

Here is the plan.
1. Drive a wedge between Trump and Musk.
2. Wonderful midterm elections for the Dems.
3. Dem controlled Congress impeached Trump and Rino infested Senate removes him.
4. Jack Smith finishes his work and the Dems take over America in Jan 20, 2029 with someone like Bernie, AOC, Maxine Waters, or Karen Bass as President.

Elon Musk is in fact America’s greatest industrialist and superior to all of the Robber Barons of History.

Elon Musk assembled a team that has bested all of the world’s best rocketeers including NASA and the Russian government.

Many Americans in their perpetual condition of inescapable inequality hate Elon Musk for the simple reason he is better than them....... far, far better
