Comment by buwaya None of these Russian issues are unique of course. You will find some things like this, even in a more extreme state in some cases, elsewhere. All this stuff exists in gradations anywhere you care to look. The critical issues here however is the financial disconnect between society in general and the sources of wealth. Most countries live off the sweat of their brows, more or less, the productivity of their people. Russia can ignore that, as can a few other resource-extraction states. That creates unique social structures.

You win, I won’t move there. Nor will I support military aid to Russia in support of the Ukraine war.

Consider me neutral.

The coolest manners thing about them is in theater seating. As someone moves down the row to or from their seat, they face the person as they move past, instead of putting their ass in your face.

It’s the little things.

Your obsession with, biased toward and extreme hatred of Russia and Russians is just as vile as racism and anti-Semitism. It’s moral sickness.

You live in n a glass house crocodile..... just a few hundred years ago the tribes of the Philippines were cannibal savages. I'm sure there were even some Russians helping other Europeans to bring civilization to that dark corner of the world.

Philippine Pre-Colonial Headhunting
The practice of headhunting played a significant role in the pre-colonial history of the Philippines, with various ethnic groups engaging in this tradition for a multitude of reasons. In northern Luzon, ethnic groups such as the Ifugao, Bontoc, Ilongot, Sagada Igorot, Kalingas, and Apayaos practiced headhunting as a cultural custom. This practice involved the taking of an enemy's head as an act of revenge or to bring glory and good luck to a warrior and their village.

Good point, invaded and destroyed a CONTINENT (and more), with a FULL-SCALE attack, and without provocation.

And now they want to lecture the world as to what is right and what is wrong. SPARE ME

And yet they’re more moral than the US where adoptions are concerned. They won’t allow preverts to adopt children.

Buwaya isn't a Spaniard, he is from the Philippines. His handle 'buwaya' means crocodile in the tagalong aboriginal language of the Philipenes. His ancestors were headhunting degenerates. He not only hates Russians he has a low opinion of native born Americans as well. He has a very high opinion of himself thanks to our garbage ruling class' favoring of foreigners to subjugate Americans. He has DEI arrogance written all over him.

buwaya (Tagalog)

Origin & history

From Proto-Philippine, from Proto-Malayo-Polynesian *buqaya, from Proto-Austronesian *buqaya.

Noun

buwaya

  1. crocodile

“I’m sure there were even some Russians helping other Europeans to bring civilization to that dark corner of the world.”

Strangely enough I don’t recall a single case of a Russian pre the 1920’s - 30’s. There were a fair number of “White Russians” who showed up then, refugees who had fetched up in the Philippines from Shanghai or elsewhere in China. We knew several of their descendants. But that all was centuries after the times of settlement and Christianization.

There certainly were pagans and savages in the islands, and worse, Muslims. In the very first volumes of dispatches from the Legaspi expedition (Its all online in English, look for Blair & Robertson, the translators) there are accounts of depredations of these pirates, and of skirmishes against them. It was indeed the Spanish and the Church that brought civilization there. Among the Spanish, military, officials, and clergy, there were a good number of Frenchmen and Italians and even a few Belgians (or what we today would call Belgians), as well as natives and mestizos (mixed race) from what is now Mexico and Peru.

what's worse is that he fails to mention that the oligarchy state is rising in this nation, which is why the middle-class is disappearing in the U.S.

That is why I am more concerned as to what is happening to my nation, for it was that middle-class, which was the largest class in the U.S., that attracted people from around the world. Now the come to steal what they can when the stupid get to vote for insane leadership that also steals what it can.

Perhaps this person is yet another prong of those who are trying to destroy this nation.

Is that the case buwaya; do you have desires to destroy this nation? Id that why you sided with Ukraine & Democrats to send our money, that we do not have, to save Ukraine? Where was Spain during both World Wars? I can tell you where they weren't, fighting with the Allied nations against the Axis Alliance. Ay least Russia was there with us.

“do you have desires to destroy this nation?”

Yes, yes I do. I have been trying desperately for years to facilitate your failure to educate your kids. And I do it with a highly successful strategy of reverse psychology. Every time I tell you the truth of the dreadful state of things, you, being mindless, reflexive creatures, reject it. Therefore the more you know, the more you reject reality. It has worked brilliantly.

“Where was Spain during (between) both World Wars?”

Minding our own business, but really caught up in a massive state of ideological unrest.

Which ended up in fighting each other, culminating in the Spanish Civil War, 1936-39. You may have heard of it. Russia wasn’t being too helpful in our case.
