ABC in Chicago ran a story with family members in Waukegan, crying miserably because their father was picked up. Of course, ABC didn’t say anything about if he had a record, but he was 44 years old, and had been here 30 years! May have just been caught in a net. Came in as a child, which is not his fault. I’d like to know if he’s law abiding, other than being here illegally. Strictly speaking, he has no right to be here, but I’d still like to know. I don’t doubt there are many thousands just like him. A friend from college father was illegal. He was law abiding in every other way, but he had to stay under the radar. He’d been here since he was a kid. This was over 30 years ago. They were from Waukegan.
