No J6er Got Justice in Biden’s D.C.
American Thinker ^ | 27 Jan, 2025 | Jack Cashill

“I fear that you will get more violence,” said Sen. Lindsay Graham on “Meet the Press” this Sunday. “Pardoning the people who went into the Capitol and beat up a police officer violently I think it was a mistake.”

In so saying, Graham, like so many pundits on the Right, showed how little he knows about what transpired on January 6, 2021, and during the four years afterward. In truth, the one thing all J6ers have in common, including the allegedly violent ones, is that they had no more chance at securing justice in Joe Biden’s D.C. than the Scottsboro Boys had in Jim Crow Alabama.

In 2020, 95 percent of the D.C. citizens voted against Donald Trump. If this jury pool were not poisoned enough, the media lied relentlessly to potential jurors about the “insurrection,” about “white supremacist” mobs, about cops being “murdered” -- pick a number of dead cops, 1 to 5.

A change of venue would seem to have been in order, but none was allowed, and the juries lived down to expectations. They acquitted not a single J6er. Knowing the odds against them, hundreds of defendants pleaded guilty to crimes they did not commit -- including felony assault.

The Scottsboro Boys at least had the major media and the ACLU on their side, The J6ers had neither. On the first anniversary of January 6, for instance, all 51 ACLU chapters signed on to a letter drafted by the D.C. ACLU about “the white supremacists” that invaded the U.S. Capitol. The date was the only thing the ACLU got right:

“On January 6 of last year, the residents of D.C. were traumatized as an insurrectionist mob roamed our streets, harassed our neighbors, and violently broke into the Capitol Building, killing at least five people...

No conservative could get a fair trial in the Karl Marx hub of Washington D.C.

This is why I said any Trump supporter who attended any of his inauguration-related events in D.C. was at least mildly retarded.

May the Lord strike all these persecutors blind as He did Paul on the Damascus Road...and raise them in faith.

Failing that send them all to hell with dispatch.

Confusion to our enemies.
God save the Republic.

100% conviction rates. That’s unAmerican.

Does the author really think Graham doesn't know what happened? Or is Graham - like far too many of his GOP peers - simply playing Deep State Monopoly for fun and profit?

I think that so many of the politicians, and the leftists, have borderline personality disorders. I don’t think they are capable of what you or I would consider reason.

Ah yes .....Romanesque Senator Linseed Graham Cracker has said it alll, folks!

Once again, the Romneyite milquetoast of the Republican Olde Guard has voiced, as usual, through his expert usage of his wetted prestidigitator wind-direction indicator, the seriousness of the issue presented to him by a wliy news reporter.

A lot of interviews, and being posted are different social platforms bears witness that this post is true. Joe Biden never gave anyone the gift of INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

When Wray was dodging questions from Congress regarding the failed assassination of Trump in Butler , PA., that sob Wray was gloating about the conviction rate and how many J6’ers he’d imprisoned. His face lit up, the mofo was proud as could be .

It was predetermined that they could find a crime that everyone who participated would go to jail to set an example of what happens to those who resist. Lavrentiy Beria was the hero of the Courts - “Show me the man and I will show you the crime”. The outcomes were predetermined in all of the trials.

Lindsey Graham has always been an Establishment/Forever War whore. This shouldn’t surprise anyone. He was urging capital police to murder protestors on Jan 6. Just like North Carolina needs to take out its trash in Thom Tillis, South Carolina needs to do the same here.

Texas had the same problem with Travis County (Austin) being given the power to investigate all potential crimes by anyone in state government, regardless of where they were from.

So, of course, they went after Republicans, with Kay Baily Hutchison being their highest profile target. They were ready to send her to jail...and then suddenly dropped all charges the day after she won her election to the US Senate. Reaction here was “oh, that’s nice”, rather than WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE. They also railroaded some ‘uncooperative’ (meaning conservative) Democrats just to be able to say they were ‘non-partisan’.

Anyway, I think Texas finally fixed that problem...but I don’t remember how they did it. One national proposal that I’ve seen is to have the trials in the jurisdiction that the politician (or whoever) comes from, if it involves a federal offense...which sounds fair to me. Of course Democrats from Blue areas wouldn’t get convicted of anything...but they don’t get convicted now anyway.

- 100% correct! MAGA needs to remind Linda that his treachery surprises no one.

Great article.

As things are going presently, talking heads are hammering away on one case of alleged criminality on January 6th. That’s one out of 1500 or so.

Imagine that the political parties were reversed. 1500 Democrats were imprisoned by Donald Trump’s Department of Justice for actions that took place on one day. The talking heads would be talking about the one person who was completely innocent - not the one person who was demonstrably guilty.

We have extreme cherry-picking. We are asked to render judgment on 1500 people by the action of one person. Either the select (allegedly) guilty person or the one innocent person. Likewise, we are judging two administrations, Biden’s and Trump’s, based on the selection of one person.

The people who focus on one person (or even a dozen people) are acting unfairly today. They deserve to be chastised real time.

The press, congress, committees, Hollywood, Democrat Party, Republican RINOs all tried to make our President Trump to be seen as a J6er, subject to the same denial of justice and rights they were handing out like Hallowe’en candy. I’ll bet Tums and anti-diarrhetics are flying off the shelves in Washington.

Needed — a rule allowing DC defendants to move their trials to neutral jurisdictions.
