What a job that would be. Sit at a console, fly drones around and flip open everyone’s trash can. Just like we did on Mischief Night.

Drones could be used to scour for illegal dumping acts and help spot people leaving trash bins out earlier than permitted. Prison time for these scofflaws. Hard labor. The State has a schedule, you have to adapt. No excuses about long commutes, working odd hours or such. Skynet rules!

Good to know every murder, robbery, assault and rape has been eliminated so the government has time for drone trash patrol.

I’m sure they will be looking at Trump Tower for this serious violation.
What would be fun is using a laser on rats at the dump from you desk.

“illegal dumping acts”
I live near a service road of US41 here in Florida.
After the hurricanes it’s a big and growing problem.

Here in Missouri there are cameras installed in every trash truck. They video every homes trash dump into the truck. They drive past each home and photograph whether or not a trash can is outside the home. This is a trash service with an arm capable of taking each trash can mechanically to dump it into the truck. In other words the driver does not have to exit the truck to pick up the can. If a person says, ‘Hey, you didn’t pick up my trash today!’ The city will send the person a photograph with a timestamp of when the truck was passing the property! The photo will show no container by the curb. In other words the trucks are photographing every home on trash day!

That seems like a great use of taxpayer funds since all the trash ends up in the landfill anyway.
