Dayton, Ohio – On November 15, a man called 911 to report that a woman was lying on the ground of a parking lot in Kettering, OH, a suburb of Dayton, hemorrhaging three weeks after an abortion. The couple apparently attempted to return to the abortion clinic, Women’s Med Dayton, but mistakenly parked at the pregnancy resource center across the street. It was there, in the parking lot, that she collapsed on the ground.
Operation Rescue confirmed with the pregnancy center, Women’s Centers of Ohio, that it had closed an hour before the incident and had no knowledge of the emergency that took place on its property.
See image below for a map showing the vicinity of the two facilities and where the bleeding woman dropped to the ground.
The caller, who was apparently the woman’s boyfriend or husband, stated she had “lost a lot of blood,” and had “blood clots everywhere.”
When the dispatcher asked if she was acting normal, the man reiterated, “She’s laying in the parking lot.”
Suspicious Change of Ownership
Following this frightening emergency, the notorious Women’s Med Dayton was apparently purchased by Planned Parenthood.
Operation Rescue began researching a possible transfer of ownership in late December after receiving a tip from a local Dayton resident. No official change of ownership documents were available at that time. At last check, the clinic is still listed with the Ohio Health Department as an ambulatory surgical facility under the name “Women’s Med Dayton.”
“Despite no documented change of ownership in state records, this clinic, previously owned by infamous partial-birth abortionist Martin Haskell, is newly listed as “Dayton Surgical Center” on the official Planned Parenthood website.
Operations Rescue has reported on a large body of evidence relating to the actions of this egregious facility and documented a long history of Haskell’s disturbing, murderous behaviors over the years.
In keeping with the shoddy practices this facility is known for, Planned Parenthood is following suit by publishing that the notoriously dangerous facility performs abortions up to 24 weeks gestation even though abortion is only legal up to 22 weeks in Ohio. See screenshot below.
The Women’s Med Dayton license was set to expire in 2020, yet it continues to operate under a “Pending Renewal” designation. That means this clinic has not had a valid license since 2020. (The listing under “Women’s Med Center of Dayton,” refers to the clinic before changing its name in an attempt to reinstate licensure.)
“When a state allows abortionists to operate with little to no accountability,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, “it is no wonder terrible things happen – like a woman lying on the ground hemorrhaging weeks after an abortion!
“We do not know if Haskell has now been hired as medical director and is still there killing babies and endangering women. Haskell or not, it doesn’t look like things will get any better based on what we are already seeing.”

nor is it a matter of just a “clump of cells”
Life & family must be the central public message for at least the next 4 years
Very sad. The media will hype to no limit some manufactured story of a woman or girl who allegedly sustained some ill effects as a result of being denied abortion, while they ignore the *mountain* of stories of women maimed or killed by their abortions.
Doctors always tell you about the dangers and side effects of any medical procedures. But these are not doctors, despite what they call themselves. And abortions are not medical procedures, despite what they call themselves.
OK. Thank You. It Will.
America 2025:
I truly don’t understand doctors who specialize in abortion. I was raised thinking doctors chose medicine out of a desire to save lives and help people. (Later, I decided many, hopefully not most, chose because it was a lucrative career.) But, still, humanitarians!
How could anyone remove and kill a little one that’s wiggling around? That’s like killing a puppy. It’s unbelievably soul destroying. And to do it more than once? Unreal. And then the idea that someone might SPECIALIZE in that field of medicine. The mind boggles. What does it do to the very being of that person to kill over and over and over again? How do they go to sleep at night? Do they dream of the babies?
Should abortion doctors be directed to mental health clinics and watched for mental illness? Killing isn’t just a breaking of a vital social contract. It’s also a fundamental defect in a personality.
Sorry for ranting. For some reason, all that came to mind about the woman in the parking lot was wondering how the doctor that operated on her can justify themselves participating in such a soul destroying piece of work. It’s early in the morning and I’m still waking up.
I understand the sentiment but killing a puppy doesn’t even come close.
Two-for-one deal?
If she had returned to the clinic, I doubt they would have done anything to help her. She’s fortunate to have parked in the Pregnancy, pro-life center’s parking lot, where they care.
Unbelievable, isn’t it? When I was a teen, possession of marijuana in California was a felony. People were so charged and imprisoned. Yesterday, I saw, in my mostly ‘conservative’ town, a billboard advertising drive-through marijuana sales. Phew! Finally! And I wondered at just how much ‘better’ things have become over the course of my life. A few minutes later, at the post office, I marveled at our local ‘Planned Parenthood’ abortuary, located right next door and across the street from a beautiful park, trashed by ‘homeless’ people. Traveling on to work, I took note of six (!) Chinese whorehouses advertising ‘massage’ services, with two such establishments in one case being no more than 100 feet from each other. Later, at home and watching the local news on TV, I enjoyed a stream of advertisements for our region’s “Indian” casinos packed with attractive, healthy, younger couples enjoying themselves, fueled by smiling bartenders and ‘gourmet’ cheeseburgers. Our Christian culture is no more, and God is mocked at every turn. It was better before.
In Nebraska, all doctor’s must have admission rights to a local hospital in order to practice.
There was a hospital emergency center just two blocks away, and a major hospital about two miles away. Renaming an abortion mill a “surgical center” probably cost this woman the chance to ever have a baby at all.
