The Danish government has announced that Greenlandic families will no longer be required to undergo the ‘forældrekompetenceundersøgelse’ (FKU), a parental competency test used to determine whether parents are deemed fit to raise their children. While the test is reportedly easy to pass, it poses significant challenges for Greenlanders who are not fluent in Danish and includes cultural biases. Children can be removed from their parents if they fail the test.
The test assesses parents on various aspects of their lives, including how they react to certain situations, their self-perception, whether they have any physical or mental health issues, their outlook on life, and their future plans. “The main test was developed based on Western norms, which can lead to misunderstandings and prejudice,” the Danish Institute for Human Rights has warned.
The data supports these concerns. According to a 2022 report cited by The Guardian, 5.6% of children of Greenlandic origin living in Denmark are placed in foster care, compared to just 1% of Danish-origin children. “The tests do not account for potential language barriers or cultural differences, putting Greenlandic parents at risk of being unfairly assessed in child custody cases,” explains Louise Holck, director of the Danish Institute for Human Rights.

This is ridiculous. Aren’t most of the Greenlanders Inuit?
And another clear signal that Denmark intends to hold onto Greenland.
Who gave Denmark the right to impose idiotic, far left, stupid, parental tests on the people of Greenland which is far from Denmark?
I know....just....WOW
I cant believe a western country does this.
I just goes to show that Europeans DO NOT think like Americans...and fascism and overreach are the default positions of just about every government.
These children would be above average IQ in many of our US Cities.
“Denmark is making it easier for Greenlanders to accept the status quo.:”
Status quo as a colony of Denmark subject to Danish laws and whims?
Nobody wants that.
I’m about completely done with Europe. Phuque em.
Denmarks days are numbered since muslims are overtaking their culture now that they have the vote.
**These children would be above average IQ in many of our US Cities.**
NOT FUNNY! lol
Next question: if we takeover Greenland will that make the Inuit the new Native Americans and will casinos spring up across Greenland?
“ I’m about completely done with Europe. Phuque em.”
Well, I was done with them in 1713 .
They didn’t like my ancestors and we didn’t like them.
Still need to make a trip over and reclaim some ancestral land.
I cant believe a western country does this.
I just goes to show that Europeans DO NOT think like Americans
Ah, you do realize the U.S. has been imposing LGBTQ+ gender ideology on the entire world?
That we gave Afghanistan $10 million to teach gender studies in their schools?
That our State Dept and NATO has been bullying Hungary and Poland and the Third World to recognize gay marriage and rights for trannies?

Prejudice can be rightly defined as “attitudes and/or behaviors that someone else doesn’t like”.
Technically, Greenland is part of North America; so the Inuit there are already ‘Native Americans’.
Indians seem to do well with casinos...
And you know that how?
I think that stopped yesterday.
What the hell is tis? Sounds like Nazi’s on steroids. Denmark is running scared. They think that by giving a crumb, they can keep Greenlanders in their place. I’m betting that if it were up to a vote, Greenlanders would vote to become the 51st state. Maybe it will be, I hope I live long enough to see it.

Nobody wants that.
You know how all Greenlanders think?
Greenland is a territory of Denmark. The U.S. also has many territories.
Do you also know how all the people in our territories think?
