“I think he should make a deal,” U.S. president says about the Kremlin chief. The war “is not making him look good.”
Russia's war on Ukraine has landed Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in "big trouble," U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Monday.
"[Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy told me he wants to make a deal, I don’t know if Putin does ... He might not. I think he should make a deal. I think he’s destroying Russia by not making a deal," Trump said in the Oval Office on the first day of his second presidency.
"I think, Russia is kinda in big trouble. You take a look at their economy, you take a look at their inflation in Russia. I got along with [Putin] great, I would hope he wants to make a deal," he added.

"He’s grinding it out. Most people thought it would last about one week and now you’re into three years. It is not making him look good," Trump said.
"We have numbers that almost a million Russian soldiers have been killed. About 700,000 Ukrainian soldiers are killed. Russia’s bigger, they have more soldiers to lose but that’s no way to run a country," he added.

Trump will institute hard sanctions that will bring Rooski economy to a grinding halt. This will be when Putana throws in the towel. Then will come a Kremlin revolt, where Putana will be thrown into a locked room with a loaded revolver.
He also said he would end this war on his first day in office.

Yes. Those are warmongers who are totally responsible for all the harm of the Ukraine war. All of it. This is not Putin’s doing. Putin acted exactly as Trump would have acted had he been the Russian leader. Putin spent 15 years warning the US not to break its promise to not expand NATO toward the Russian border. Ukraine was the final straw. Putin acted to defend his country and its borders. Good on Putin. He fought the Biden/EU globalist threat. He has won the war. Now Trump can clean up the mess Biden left and all the corruption in Ukraine. And it doesn’t need to start with nasty words toward Russia. That is just not smart. Unless Trump wants to keep the war going. And send more billions of US tax dollars to increase the damage to Ukraine, and to have more young male Ukrainians killed. I suspect Trump will end this sad chapter in US history.
Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, NATO Secretary General in 2008:
The Europeans and even Bush's administration warned that NATO expansion to Ukraine and Georgia would set NATO on a collision course with Russia. Bush got his way. This is now "Russian propaganda".

NATO was not going to expand into Ukraine any time soon, if ever. Additionally, Putin turned down Zelensky's offer of no NATO in return for Russian withdrawal. So you attempt at Russian propaganda fails.
