That’s one thing about conservatives. We can find gentle humor in almost anything. That’s quite unlike liberals. A dull and drab bunch they are.
But I do feel your pain. More than once a post of mine gets sent in an entirely different direction. Perhaps a disclaimer in post #1 would be appropriate: “Serious and on-topic replies only, please.”

He didn’t really “father” it. That would mean that he actually created it. Instead, he discovered it and analyzed and characterized its properties. His work was important and led to many important additional discoveries.
