e says her husband’s well-paying job has come at an incredibly sad cost — her own career. “My husband earns well, not loads, but realistically it’s always going to be more than me. It naturally means my career has had to take a back seat while I’m at home with the kids,” she explained.
“But we’ve got no additional support, and someone does need to do the child-related things. This lands on me.” Currently, the mother works part-time, but she isn’t satisfied. “Sometimes I wish I had the luxury of working more,” she said. “I miss my job and independence.” Taking to a moms’ forum, she sought closure. However, responses were divided.
“Could I insist he quit his job? I’m not sure I could. A reluctant and resentful stay-at-home dad or part-time one? Hardly a good idea,” she said. The family can’t afford a nanny, they can’t move to find better childcare options, and the mother can’t work from home.

It’s biology (and psychology). Men and women are different. It’s time to slay the feminist myth.
I agree 100%. UNLESS you have a truly important job, the time spent at home with your young children is far more valuable. It’s hard to understand when they are very young, but they do grow up very quickly, Before you know, they are gone.

I’ve been seeing you here for ten years. Your resentment toward women/marriage is obvious in most of your posts.
Where does that come from?
She needs to remember that her children will get to decide how and where she spends her “golden years.”

Our family here would say, prudent caution, very prudent, as in the times of Noah, and Lot.

This is why you are a ridiculous person.
A person who’s entire worldview is ‘biblical’, attempting to justify a position with science like sounding arguments, a pursuit of knowledge you regularly denigrate.
“ Neanderthal.”
I am quite certain that Neanderthals cared for their children and taught them their roles in life.
Its reality, not resentment. I see things as they are, not what we want to believe they are or gynocentric society and media tell us they are.
You may be beating the odds. If so I am glad for you.
Correct!
And it is likewise not universally true that jumping out of a ninth-story window and landing on the pavement will result in death.
You got any more "gems" like that?

“Their marriage is doomed.”
Yep. If the guy quit his job lie she’s talking about, she would leave him.
You need to put aside your anti-Christian bias, which is itself not scientific. I have never denigrated sciences. The idea that faith and reason are at odds with one another is a conceit of secular materialism. The Church has always been a patron of science, not an opponent. How much of modern science has its roots in the works of Catholic clergy.
In the present instance they are in harmony and to deny the differences between men and women is anti-science. By nature, both physical and psychological, women are ordered towards the procreation and rearing of children. This is true whether you hold that the differences between men and women are the result of a divine creator or of the blind forces of nature. This has been recognized by all cultures. Only the present hedonistic and individualistic society has convinced itself that these differences do not exist, and as such goes against science.
It sounds like they just shouldn’t have had kids. Its not for everyone.

‘ You exhibit the sign of a small mind, responding with sarcasm to a sincere post.’
What you seem to consider sincere, I consider patronizing and haughty.
Hopefully you make better choices in other aspects of your life.‘
You too, but responding with sarcasm isn’t a mistake, it’s intentional.
‘ You need to put aside your anti-Christian bias,’
No, I do not.
‘ The idea that faith and reason are at odds with one another is a conceit of secular materialism.’
Is it really? You won’t see me making a religious argument to support science whereas you seem to like to pick out scientific ‘facts’,to support your regressive religious views.
Sounds like she should either have abstained from sex or married a pauper.
