A Georgia state senator was dramatically pushed to the ground and arrested after he appeared at the state house's chambers, despite being banned.
Senator Colton Moore, who is Republican, was banned from setting foot inside the chamber after making comments about the late House Speaker David Ralston.
On Thursday, during Governor Brian Kemp's State of the State Address, Moore attempted to get inside the chamber.
Footage shows his attempts being rebuffed, as he was shoved to the ground before being arrested.
As he dusts himself down, Moore could be heard telling state troopers and other officials that it was his constitutional right to be inside.
He said: 'I have an obligation to be in that room, I represent 200,000 people in northwest Georgia who duly elected me to be here today.
'Unconstitutional, you have no respect for the constitution. Complete disrespect to the constitution.'
Moore has a brief interaction with a state trooper directly where he is informed he wouldn't be allowed inside, as a group officers place him in cuffs.

So much for free speech, eh?
His constituents could try the *No taxation without representation* tactic.
If they aren't being represented, they shouldn't be taxed.
People see what they see.
You bet. And I see you clearly. Right in focus. Thanks for the ID.
“so much for free speech, eh?”
Right!! Guess they thought it didn’t apply when one of their own was being slandered.... I guess everyone was right when they’ve said - “rights for me - none for thee.” Amazing how illogical life has become!
“A 1905 state law (O.C.G.A. § 17-8-26) requires judges and prosecutors to defer to the schedules of any member of the general assembly who is also a practicing lawyer, and as speaker, Ralston was able to claim scheduling conflicts any time of year. By delaying court cases in this manner, Ralston was able to keep his clients free on bond for months or even years, while weakening court cases over time by letting memories fade and evidence expire. Some of Ralston’s clients retained him specifically for these reasons.”

“Moore’s comments about Ralston came about last year as a portrait of the longtime speaker was unveiled inside the House.
Moore had said: ‘This body is about to perpetually memorialize one of the most corrupt Georgia leaders we’ll ever see in our lifetime.’”
Criticizing a politician is enough to get kicked out of Georgia’s senate chambers. Ridiculous. 6 cops to arrest him?
If the federal congress had those rules everyone would be arrested.
People see what they’re inclined to see.

You never give up. Disgusting.
There is a lot more video.
I don’t understand why he was not admitted. If he was unruly, he could be asked to leave or taken out. Was he the only one in his category who was not invited.
Is this being done because he says unpleasant things?
The use of judo on an elected representative is not a good look. I think the people deserve to really know what is going on.
He was not shoved to the ground...he got off balance and lost his footing. I’m inclined to think he’s drunk. Maybe not???
><
You’re trolling me, sis.
The cops who layed hands on him as a duly elected member of the chamber committed a grave criminal act blocking his access.
They will come to regret this.
Why wouldn’t Brian Kemp himself intervened to let the state senator in? Who was barring him or banning him?
So he’s a state senator but is in essence being locked out of his place of business? How the F is this legal and why hasn’t someone been fired for this?
It was the leader of the Georgia state Senate who is a Republican. Kemp probably has his dirty fingers in it but legally and procedurally he’s not involved at all.
Colton is a very strong supporter of Trump.
I know Colton Moore. I assure you he was not drunk or under the influence of any drug
bttt
Colton Moore's arrest was contrary to the Constitution of the state of Georgia which states that no elected representative may be banned from entering the State Assembly except for treason , espionage or felony.
Kemp is using his state house black slave police detail to arrest Colton Moore.YOu can see it on the video ( Yes I played that race card...why not...its truth)
Moore is a MAGA supporter, The GOP good old boys who are RINOs do not want their state money cart upset , they depend on its lucre. This incident may be Kemp's undoing politically, as the old guard Republicans try to hang on to power.
Video Sources are good and accurate...listen to what MAGA supporter Moore has to say:
